So lovely to hear (and see) Maria Markesini for truly one of the 2 or 3 most beautiful renditions (Barbra Streisand and Carol Fredette) of this lovely piece by Mickey Leonard, I believe, and the piano accompaniment is so far beyond magnificent. Thankyou, A, for posting this work of art.

Was she trying to be dramatic up to 0:53 or was she asleep? And she ruined the song with her over-board theatrics! Too bad, it's a great song, but this is not it!

She adapted this to her genre; It's a great song and pliable. I liked the performance, but didn't love it.

She has good control of her voice, but she's lacking soul...Amy does good with this song, but Moody is the MASTER! : D Soul is what Jazz is all about!! Nice try though.

why compare? this is a different setting to James Moody or Amy, then i would say (kzbin.info/www/bejne/on6cZ5p5adyejqs) this is better than Amy but who am i to attempt to say so? Also in this one i payed a lot of attention to the pianist cos he had a lot going on and he amazed.
