I just finished this. Fantastic film! As a man born in Barbados, this film holds a special place in my heart. Seeing the beautiful shots of my island and my people is so ethereal. I thank all of the people who brought this film to life, especially in a time when it wasn't fashionable to do so. And most importantly, the script was superbly written, blending the multiple stories and weaving in the deeper issues while keeping it entertaining. The conversation between David and Mavis at the end is so poignant. Thank you sfinthecity for uploading this. Keep 'em coming! 🙌

Never put women on a pedestal or give them the shadow of doubt. They lie too. Big time. DNA your kid while you are at it. The guy thinks that kid is his.

Couple of reasons I think this show did not work. The female characters are pretty interchangeable, looks and personality wise. You do not have a key voice outside of being a romantic interest for the lead male characters. There was no Monica or Rachel for example that existed and had their own lives not tethered to the men. Will Friedel is also carrying the show, and scenes without him fall flat. ANOTHER THING, the culture of the time was almost immediately after 9/11 and people weren't feeling sitcoms.

This show is funny as hell, I watched many episodes so far. This one in particular was extremely funny. I knew it existed as a kid about 11 years old in the I960's. it's so disappointing they cancelled it. Evryone in the cast and most of the guest actors were on the money with the jokes and the timing. Ronnie Schnell said in an interview he told Goldie there was no quesion she was going to be a big star....she didn't believe him, back then when she was 21. She does now lol.

Coop never could deliver dialog that sounds natural. Inflection pacing always stilted and disengaged.

How wonderful. I was too young to watch these shows, but now, its so cool to look back at those stars who are aging out, when they were just getting started.

I saw this episode when I was 10 years old and I remember when the Zack character was fighting and I thought to myself "Dr Kiley isn't supposed to act like that"

It’s very difficult to pull off a one hour action comedy in prime time with no laugh track which is why this show is one of the very few examples in this genre. Give (Glen) Larson credit for the attempt along with BJ and the Bear.
