This is such an incredible song. I guess I really missed out on the indie scene like 10 or 15 years ago and I'm just discovering stuff like this on Spotify. It's a real pleasure watching/listening to the drummer and guitarist in this video. Not sure what that lady's problem/affectation is at the end though.

Gone way too soon this band. So glad I got to see them live during their last shows.

Touching, tender, storied and best of all, longing for relief ! Nicely done, people ! Sometimes, simplicity really gets the job done best !

So cool to stumble upon this. Tony used to come to the bluegrass jams at the 5th String in Berkeley and play banjo every so often back in the late 80's. Such a beautiful walk down memory lane to hear his drive, expression, and musicianship here 3 decades later. Luke's lyrical and percussive/rhythmic violin and yearning harmony vocals are the perfect accompaniment. Out of the dozens of versions of Peggy O here on KZbin, this is the most beautiful and moving.

This version is possibly better than the original. This percussion does add something. Simply beautiful.
