In conclusion, the amount of bitrate feeds the quality of movement in the scene, something that has been misinterpreted many times, thinking that for any scene everything is the same for the simple fact of having the same number of pixels in its resolution. And you dear reader can do nothing to solve it, but increasing the bitrate… One of the solutions without increasing the bitrate is to lower the fps and when you do this you get a poor fluency result so it gets worse. I forgot, From the root it also happens that: there are other factors such as the resampling rate that can harm this and no matter how much bitrate you set it will not be solved, it is a bit more coding at the time the rendering happens and once processed there is no going back but you can make up with algorithmic blur effects.

HLS doesn't play well on my tv when I stream there. Sound crackles often and occasionally loud annoying sounds.

The optics capable of resolving true 8k will be huge and extremelly expensive as well as the amount of processing power needed to crop and process so many pixels will be huge too. You'd better go with a PTZ. At least for the moment. Maybe in some years it will change. As you mentioned, croping from the same unique angle is not the same as having two different cameras shooting from different angles. The results in terms of composition are very poor.

What with latency on HDMI inputs, any chances to minimize it? I undestand, what it depends of encoding input signal on H264 for record/streaming. But if I decide to use it as a vidiomixer (Resolume, live VJ-ing), what with this?

How tf do you make a review and don't know how it works. You really thought a t-stop or f-stop was dynamic range. If you are seeing this comment then you should understand these guys have 0 clue what they are talking about they are just making content and trying to sound intelligent. So, BE AWARE!

I would love to see a video on switching layouts with an Elgato Stream Deck. Step by step with instructions starting with how to install and set up the channels and layouts on the stream deck. How to start and stop a livestream. How to start and stop a recoding and lastly how to switch layouts during a livestream or podcast all with the stream deck Thank you

I use the Pearl 2 with Uno overlays and I can bring in guests from other cities. I do my own switching with my iPad in Epiphan’s switcher program but my next upgrade is the Elgato Stream Deck to make it even simpler. Trust me if I can do this anyone can. All I did was call tech support and they walked me right thru it and I was running within a hour Pearl 2 maybe expensive but it is well worth it if you do any streaming, recording or podcasting

have a 5800x and 6700xt. h264 causes encoding overload while 265 doesnt in obs settings when screen recording at 1080p60. is that normal? tried different settings and suggestions but only hvec works without lag. no other apps open.

Can it be on OWNHOSTED server?
