An Australian masterpiece that no one knows about.

You know what’s so sad about this film it shows right after the assassination of Park Chung Hee there was a lot of hope in South Korea that democracy would finally come and Choi Kyu-hah was about to start free and fair elections and all that hope during the Soul spring vanished on the night of December 12 1979 thank to Chun Doo-hwan The ROK had to suffer 8 more years of military dictatorship. All those people who died during the Gwangju Uprising and who died during police interrogations. Also the hope thing that separates the two dictator Park was not corrupt but Chun was. He stole millions from donations and the Treasury and other ways. Even in the film the man standing next he stole from parks own safe in his office.

I need this movie right now.

one of the worst movies ever. Actors are not acting, just yelling and screaming non-stop. Plotline is basic and simple as hell.

The character that served as the inspiration for actor Park Sung-bae, who played the mayor in the movie Asura, is Lee Jae-myung, the current leader of the opposition party in South Korea. South Korea is currently experiencing division, instigation, conflict, civil war, and chaos because of this person.

It was the opening film in the IFFK 2024 (International Film Festival of Kerala ). Such a wonderful movie to begin the prestigious film festival. ❤

I don't know if I could even give an age, my parents are in their 80s and while this may be sad and mean of me I think it's time for my dad to move on, but my mom is in a time where she's the most active and healthy and has her whits about her than even when she was younger. And even then most of the problems they mentioned could be dealt with redistribution of wealth, it shouldn't be possible for so few people to hold as much wealth as they do

Ví esta película de procedencia búlgara en TV por cable, me parecía interesante, pero en mi opinión no llegó a concluir completamente. No hubo desenlace final, ni culpas que pagar, ni un feliz término, salvo que todos terminan celebrando en una fiesta costumbrista de campo. El principal protagonista me recordó al guasón, siempre fumando. Se reconoce el trabajo para hacer esta lejana película. 😑
