@fairyandthehun5 ай бұрын
this road takes just one day to drive if you go slowly and enjoy it. Either end of the road are towns with many shops. We found that in almost every village in Morocco there is a butchers, and a small shop selling all your basic needs, also most have a coffee shop that will make a tagine. You will never be far from food in Morocco

I beg to differ. I agree tourists can be scammed in touristic areas, but the rest of the country is not like that. Also we have never seen any religious discrimination from any Moroccan.

We drove the Tiz-n-Test in February last year, before the earthquake. As we approached the summit, weather started to close in and it started to snow hard and the mist (low cloud) made driving to dangerous to continue. We pulled into the Aire at the top and spent the night exactly in the spot where you were. Whilst we were there, the temperature dropped to minus 5c, the one and only time we've had ice on the inside of the camper windows. Next morning the weather and the road had cleared and we had the drive of our lives going south
@fairyandthehun6 ай бұрын
When we were there in March, the owner said that they've not had any snow at the top of the pass this winter, and was very worrying as Morocco is in full drought mode. Its is such a beautiful place and epic drive. Hope we brought you back some memories

@@fairyandthehun I said that there was recently an earthquake in Morocco therefore it is not negligence on the part of the Moroccan authorities but Morocco is engaged in a process of progress according to priorities Morocco has concentrated its resources on the infrastructure intended for the 2030 World Cup thank you for showing us the south of Morocco
@fairyandthehun6 ай бұрын
We did also say in our video there was an earthquake. We also said that we were suprised how much work had been already done to clear the road and how sad is was to see the devistation. If you are correct that Morocco is concentrating of the World cup then that is very sad. People are more important.

@@fairyandthehun Perhaps I misspoke, Morocco has managed the natural disaster well enough to have refused support from France. The government set up a public and private treasury to rebuild all the villages, while preserving their specific architectural features. Morocco has released direct financial aid to all victims. It's a shame you didn't have the opportunity to talk to the families of the victims and hear their stories. In passing, I mentioned that Morocco has become a giant construction site, whether in terms of renewable energy, since Morocco is going to supply Great Britain with renewable energy. It's one of the giant projects worth around 25 billion euros ... human resources are the cornerstone of this beautiful Morocco, and above all hospitality

Where is the Tropic of Cancer ? Is it in Morocco ?
@fairyandthehun7 ай бұрын
The Tropic of Cancer, also known as the Northern Tropic, is the Earth's northernmost circle of latitude where the Sun can be seen directly overhead. This occurs on the June solstice, when the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Sun to its maximum extent for more info please read here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropic_of_Cancer
