Sa qualité de son et d'articulation me font beaucoup penser à Maurice André. Elle fait chanter chaque note, sans jamais forcer...c'est une des meilleures trompettistes actuelles. Extraordinaire❤...Bravo aussi à l'orchestre dans son ensemble

I've listened to a zillion of these, and this is one of my faves. Love his tone and sweet phrasing, and the connection between the soloist and the orchestra.

That’s a very astute observation. Hakan always connects to both the music and the ensemble. It’s the level of interplay and shared interpretation that can only occur when the soloist has mastered all the technique and repertoire.

Das Tempo variiert sehr. Ist das unbewußt oder Absicht. Die Kadenz passt nicht. (zum Thema) Aber sonst sehr virtuos. LG Heli Sp. Austria -------- Da hab ich schon viel bessere Interpretationen gehört.

Id love to correct the spelling Arutunian to a real Armenian - Harutyunyan . back in soviet era russians took the name as theres no letter H in russian alphabet one of the best performance of the famous concerto brava

There is simply no aspect of Andre's technique that isn't crystalline perfection. His intonation, breathing, bell-like tone, dexterity/speed...it's all top-notch and simply flawless. He was a unique talent and consummate professional. A true master of his craft! Bravo Maestro!!

I agree Paul. The consumate all rounder. He made the Piccolo more popular but I have his entire recordings and his earlier Bb and C trumpet playing was amazing too. For me it’s his articulation that every trumpet player even now should try and emulate.
