I admire Shri Gopikrishna's amazing talent and I have seen this film many times. The title for this dance given in this video is wrong. This is at first Rudra tandavam and the second part is Ananda tandavam. Lord Shiva's Sandhya Tandavam is a special dance in which the lord dances a laasyam to please Devi Parvati and she is the only audience for this dance.

Gopi Krishna & Sandhya created a benchmark for KATHAK danceform in the Movie Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje, directed by Sri V. SHANTHARAM JI ! I have been an ardent fan of Gopi Krishna & Sandhya & their dancing abilities ! Their marvelous foot-work is awesome & deserves appreciation from all quarters 👏 ❤ ! I had recorded this movie in a VCR , some 30 years back & used to watch this several times ! All the songs 🎵 of this movie are very melodious ! 🎉 ❤ ❤😂

It's directed by Pamela Rooks one of the finest director of Indian stage and films. This was her last film too. She died in car accident after this film.
