Nice recovery and clean ride. I'm always feeling like I wanna puke just before the start. Then the gate drops, clutch dumps, eyeballs stick to inside of goggles and it's on. Looks like there's a fair number of the usual C-Class sandbaggers.

Good Job for your 1st race. If your looking to improve your riding technique let me suggest The Moto Academy app version 2.0...AJ Catanzaro and his team are by far the best at training technique and the online community are very helpful...all the Best Man and stay safe.😁👍

nice ride bro, first times always the scariest. I grew up racing capeway, 2nd gear.. quarter throttle on the concrete, soon as your back tire hits dirt that’s the time to twist it, keeps you from spinning out and stalling when you let off 🤙

Great job looked like a ton of fun, when i started racing in 1980, they had a beginner class, you got to race it 5 times then you moved up to novice. I always thought this was a good idea. But as turn outs and classes started growing other made for too long a day so… anyway good job.

No one can deny that the Deegan kid let's it all hang out! So much fun watching his progress. I used to think that he wouldn't have what it takes to challenge Jett when he moves up, I now think he's going to give Jett hell.

@ChasDoesThings the kid learns and adapts and on top of that is in full send 100 percent of the time and his fitness level is as good as it gets. That's a great combination.

Its been so long since ive been there because ive just started to not like the place but it is refreshing to see a video like this! good job dude. When i did race there i found it easier on the start gate to sweep the concrete off, and then instead of high rpm revs id do a low rpm and lug it off the line. Always kept really good traction and then once u hit the dirt then full throttle!

If they have open practice days I'd advise attending them weekly with a race snuck in here and there. Being able to ride with other riders of higher skill will do wonders for your natural speed. Natural speed is the speed at which you feel comfortable going through corners and down rough straights and roller sections. The faster you can get that the better results you'll start to see and your endurance will also increase and those short 6 lappers will suddenly feel like 2 and 3 laps and you'll cross the checkers wanting more laps. It's a good feeling to have.

Did you ride the kx450 as well? I’m curious how it compares to the rmz450 I’ve heard the Kawis are easier to ride and linear compared to some, but some the rmz is “old” I’d assume it wouldn’t be as powerful as say a yz450f
@ChasDoesThings7 күн бұрын
I’ve ridden the kawi before, I’m not a huge fan of how they feel personally but I don’t have a lot of seat time on one so hard to really say. Power wise my bike has a more tame map on it so it’s a lot softer off the bottom, but at the end of the day it’s still a 450 lol they all rip
