Isn't it better to convert the axle suspension to coil springs? That's what I plan to do now, it's cheaper than looking for a workable solution with leaf springs.

Why not use the cooling systems as with other options. 90% of Australia isn't in Tasmania, and 80% of Australian mines are in hot climates.

Hold up, wait a minute. You talk about the added heat with this system and then pretend real world testing in Tasmania the coldest place in Australia somehow proves its longevity.

Why put hot alternator air back into the engine, we want cold air! Just blow it outside
@user-nl8kl9ie2z2 ай бұрын
Yes, sucking in that hot air out of that alternator should be good for the engine😂😂 already sucking in EGR fumes, and then you want to put more hot air in

Can this get adapted to a 1hdfte ?

Unfortunatly no.

“Some years” why couldn’t you give the figures? Also testing in the coldest climate in Australia isn’t a great test, take it to a mine in the NT and let us know how it goes in 40+ climates

Question, since the alternator gets hot, and the air you cool it with goes to the air intake, ie it raises the temp of the air going into the vehicle.. Won't that affect the performance as the car want as cool air as possible?
@lavasiouxwindwater97892 ай бұрын
Good eye!
@-Awareness2 ай бұрын
No different to putting a black snorkel that also absorbs heat to warm the intake air…
@illernpiller2 ай бұрын
@@-Awareness I'd say a massive difference as a snorkel doesn't get like 80+ celcius while an alternator very much can.
@user-nl8kl9ie2z2 ай бұрын
@@-Awareness how does a black snorkel make it hotter? Do you think the sun is going to make the air get hot as it’s getting rammed into the snorkel mate you need to stop thinking or your brain is going to explode with bullshit
@steveallen13402 ай бұрын
Depends on the effectiveness of the intercooler, if it has enough capacity to reject the extra heat then no performance loss. Also, the engine consumes thousands of litres of air per minute (10 to 15 thousand if you are asking for peak output) and the waste heat off the alternator would only be a couple of hundred watts, so the intercooler should deal with this easily.

Do they accept OE spec bushes and ball joints for when you need same day replacement from the local auto parts supplier?
@geoffdeller77475 ай бұрын
I just watched this video to see if I can come across any further fitting instructions for the pro bushes. Your presenter has contradicted the basic instructions that come with the bushings, he was pointing to the rifle grooves on the outside of the bush which hold grease but the instructions specifically say don't grease the outside of the bush, I'm confused now
@asankam5 ай бұрын
Hi mate, Can you please confirm the type of grease that has to be fed through this greasing tool? Is it Moly grease or High-Speed wheel bearing grease? I thought those needle bearings (in the later models) run at high speed and will need a high-speed wheel bearing. And if that's the case, it will mix up with the moly grease in the housing. Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Any explanation would be much appreciated. Also, wouldn't Moly grease make this needle-bearing to seize? Thank you.
