In the last example why dosen't the mother say 帰って参っておりません? Isn't the kenjyougo of kuru mairu? Why only replace the iru with oru? Shouldnt kuru also become mairu?

Please sir could you please tell me the difference between tai and garu? Because I know that tai use for speakers wish and garu use for others wish but mostly I saw that tai also use for third person wish as well garu use for others and my feelings I am really y confused do please tell when and how and where to use use tai and garu
