Great video! Me and my boyfriend hike a lot in the United Kingdom and we'd love to visit a National Park like this some day. The video you did in Bryce Canyon was just beautiful. I'd maybe consider adding some copyright free low-fi music or maybe ambient music to the silent parts of this video, instead of silence. Just a thought! I can imagine a lot of people enjoy your video's in the background as you provide a lot of great information and your video's are always very calming and peaceful. I think some sort of background noise would be nice and would keep people watching to the end, instead of becoming less interested when your narration ends. I know you're open to constructive critique so i just thought i'd comment as i love watching your videos. They're great inspiration for hiking trips i'd love to be able to do someday!

You didn’t take someone’s hand who needed help…YIKES…you need to re-think your attitude. You’re cold. …and just watching your video, you’re a totally impatient douche bag passing people…kind of showing off, no? Next time, help someone who needs help…

Love the video! As an Utah native, my only note is that you’re pronouncing Zion wrong. In Utah we pronounce it as Zi-un instead of Zi-on. I know, we’re very weird.

I'm just 10 min into the video where you asked for suggestions. I just wanted to say that I love that your videos have been the full hikes, and I actually like the commentary with info about the park, not just the trail. I watch/listen while I do laundry or work on projects so I like the commentary to point out different things in the video so I know to look up in a particular spot. Your commentary doesn't necessarily match what I'm seeing, but it's kind of like a podcast with video, which I don't mind! I don't think you would need to upload the same thing at 2x speed because if someone wants to get through it faster, they could just set the speed to a faster speed and mute it. I would prefer if we could hear the sound of footsteps while hiking. The crunch, crunch, crunch can be peaceful to listen to when working on something that requires thinking and not listening to talking at the same time. I will put crunchy hikes on while I write about our travels. Wear a mic lower on your body so you just pick up the footsteps and nature sounds, rather than the huffing and puffing. Then pick it up if you want to talk about something while you're on the trail. You could still do the voiceover with crunchy walking. I probably would not watch if there was music. There are already channels with hikes that have music, with no talking and I think what makes them annoying is that their choice of free music isn't my taste to listen to. Muting their music makes it a silent hike and that's not interesting. Take a look at SUV RVing's hikes. He does a good job of mixing nature sounds, talking, and music, if you decide to do something that is more edited.

Thank you for filming this. I don't know if timing yourself to arrive when the sun was lower in the sky was part of it, but the views are absolutely stunning! I am absolutely terrified of heights. The few places where there were not any chains after Scouts Landing would still be too scary for me. I would also have to use a tether to clip into, which I saw someone towards the beginning using. I almost had a heart attack watching you walk up this so nonchalantly...LOL. I am glad that I could see how amazing the views are from Angles Landing. Just a bit sad to know that I will never see them for myself in person. That being said, I know myself well and this would be more fear and anxiety than I would be able to handle....Ha ha.

I found the hike relatively easy - been on harder ones (Picacho Peak in AZ seems to be harder, Eagle's Path here in Poland is 10x harder than this). It's just a lot of exposed places walking along that ridge, but chains make it rally safe. There are no places I did't know what to do. Just take your time, be careful and enjoy the amazing views :)

Great video. Went today. I'm officially old. Made it to the 10:15 mark on the video before turning back. Completely insane that this is opened to the public. Kudos to all young enough and in good enough shape to complete it--so jealous. The hike to this point is significant if you're in your 50s. Was concerned re: possible fatigue, sweaty hands, cramping, stumbling. For me, the margin of error is small, and the stakes couldn't be higher. Hate the spots without chains.

I need to be frank with you. You asked for people to like/subscribe if we found the video useful. Why would I want to do that when your voice is intolerable? You don't have it, dude. I want a useful video and everything would have been fine if you hadn't asked me to like and subscribe. You don't make a good narrator, dude. There's so much air sucking going on and you have a very effeminate voice, and on top of all that, you ACTUALLY have the nerve to have a dollar sign in a thanks button under the video? Nah dude. Narration isn't for you and I wouldn't have been so blunt if you hadn't BEGGED for subscriptions.

Great video - I did this in 2006 with my son. The only chains I remember were the approach to Scouts Landing and then 10-15 feet along the narrow section / bridge. Have to admit when we got to Scout's I thought we had made it and then I looked up and said "wait a minute". My son and I sat there for about 30 to 45 minutes and we went back and forth on whether to go across or not. He wasn't totally confident and this was his first big hike, so I asked him if I could go and left him there promising to return. You wondered what it was like before the chains going up - well it wasn't bad......going up, you just kept taking steps and looking for the next handhold. Coming down was a bit more of a challenge though and a video of the opposite direction would be nice because you get a real perspective of how steep and narrow that spine is when you are looking the opposite direction heading down! So, there is another reason for you to go back, to get that footage. I'll subscribe just to see whether you do 🙂

This video is FANTASTIC! The 32 minute video better conveys the Angel's Landing Hiking experience better than any other. From Scout Lookout to the top of Angel's landing is the "real experience" section of this trail hike.....really more of a climb than a hike. This real time, full length video captures it ALL! Great video quality with nicely presented and informative narrative. Wonderful job. Thank you. I just might add that I found the hike down was more scary and difficult than the climb up.

When you are experienced like that it is absolutely no problem. The rocks are a little worn out at some points but with good soles it is not real problem. The track is wide in real life than the video makes it look. And a more realistic time for an average hiker is about 3 hours + resting/pauses.

I'd argue that beyond overcoming a fear of heights, patience is by far the most valuable asset for this hike. I've been stuck waiting for people who are "frozen" or "freaking out" for quite a long time. Just try to encourage them on and wait........ and wait...
