That’s just how VNT TDIs are, straight pipe and you can hear it, it doesn’t work with the AHU TDI or the old mechanical IDIs though, as they use a wastegated turbo.

It went from 110 horsepower to 140 horsepower with chiptuning, vnt turbo.
