since joan collins and william shatner are still living in 2024 why dont they get together and make a fan episode about how now at 94 years old captain kirk goes back to the guardian of forever and be with edith one last time?

I was reading Whoopi Goldberg’s Wikipedia page that when she was very young she was watching television and saw Nichelle Nichols and said Momma their Black Woman on television and she ain’t no Maid. Because she feel proud to see someone who likes her that could give women a strong voice and message to kids and woman around the world. Also along with Black Panther to see Black People as Heroes. Also along with Asian Americans when they’re watching George Taki as Sulu on Star Trek as well. Instead of seeing Asians in Kung fu movie because we seen Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and Everything Everywhere all at once.

Has Scott never watched DS9? DS9 did story arcs WAAAAAAYYY before the third season of Enterprise. Somebody correct his misperception here.

I feel sad that Jennifer Lean has had such a troubled life post voyager. Mental illness is such a pain. She was incredible on the show.

An actor and a singer. Dang! As for the message of the song? Shatner and some of the others had similar issues. Iconic performers doing iconic shows. All just sooo good. The irony in all of this is that many in the higher math realm (of which I am not) are now claiming that a Star Trek sort of intersellar travel might really be possible. Yikes, and boggle.

First saw JD in Guns of Navarone, 1962. Then when The Timme Tunnel aired in 1966, I thought he was great. I was only 6. But I really dug that TT set.

So some people hate Enterprise 7:26 , because they don't have time to follow story arcs? Or is it too human without Federation charter? or too small in Enterprise, when they were the under-dog in space compared to every other races? It a very weak argument, for one DS9 and Voyager uses many story arcs.

Thank you so much for making this! Eric was such an amazing person and it felt like he was instantly your best friend as soon as you met. I feel bad for all the people who never got to meet him, as he was so awesome. I never saw this footage before, but remember he was at the Star Trek convention just before he passed away. He will be missed...always.

If memory serves(one of my favorite Spock lines), when Star Trek was first airing in black and white, apparently some people thought Lt. Uhura was an Asian women. Always thought Nichelle Nichols was a very beautiful woman, and even on black and white TV, her ethnicity was always clear to me. I don’t see how one could not see it. I guess a prejudice mind sees what it wants to see.

The elegance, grace and charm of this woman cannot be overstated. She has always, reminded me of Black Royalty. The very best of what a Black Woman can be and people in general, for that matter. Another Key Member of the Trek Legacy now gone. May You Continue On and Prosper in the Great Beyond. 🖖🏼💔🥲😔
