Love the Fall Bench Pillow. I just love fabric, but I don't like to sew. Too many precise directions so I will stick with paper where I can go rogue!

Paper is definitely easier!! It's gonna take me years to have a seasonal collection of pillows!

OOOooooo I love embroidery. The tool with the hook is to thread the needle. Generally, embroidery floss comes in 6 strands. Nice to not have to divide. Have fun!!! Glad to hear your mom is doing better.

If it was having a hard time scanning with the letters on your page, what about other embellishments? I want to do this but I have so many pages with thicker pieces that I don’t think it would work. Can you demonstrate even thicker pages on another video?

Thanks so much for this video and all of your tips and tricks! I am in the process right now of doing my kids albums and they are also in their 30's. I am so glad I kept all of the bits and pieces but happy now to document them and use all of the totes for something else! Scrapbook supplies maybe?? :-)

Haha! Yes, scrapbook goodies! Good luck. If you get overwhelmed, take a break. The kids will love that you captured their memories!

We went to buy these drawers, but the fact that the drawers don’t open all the way stopped us. For as much as they cost the drawers should have full extension sliders.
@TerryCowans23 күн бұрын
True. They do not open 100%. There is 6 inches that remains inside the unit. That said, they work wonderfully and store a ton.
@Moonchilling16 күн бұрын
The don’t open out completely because of safety (kids)

Mine is the CM650W. Has a lot of built in shapes but not needed. I tell folks to get the cheapest model since they all scan and cut.

Boy Cricut likes to move the menu options, don't they?!? Here's where I found it now -- under Settings, Machine tab, then Link Cartridges. Here are some screenshots to help you -- reddinup.com/cricut/link-cart/

Hello! A mat 18"x24" fits perfectly on top of the Alex Drawer Unit with Casters. It's an "OLFA 24-inch by 18-inch self-healing mat". Here's the link -- amzn.to/3VKM2Fb Here's a cheaper brand you may like -- amzn.to/4ba1tv4 Here's a Fiskars brand -- amzn.to/4c7hLXc * If you use my links, I make a small commission at no cost to you --- thank you!!

Great bargains there. I’ve never followed them so I didn’t know about the sale, which is probably good as I would have spent too much. I hope all of their demonstrators come out ok. I think a lot of scrapbook/stamp companies are struggling, not sure why. Except as you mentioned, the knockoffs. I’m in one Facebook card making group where a lot of people seem to buy from a certain Chinese company. Yet I recognize the design as being from a local company. My conscience won’t let me do that, no matter how much cheaper it is. It is ripping off the designer who is trying to make a living. Anyway, enough of that rant; enjoy your new products!

Thank you for your order Terry. Sorry it took so long to get to you. You got some great deals! So sad CTMH closed. Stampin Up let us transition over to them so I took the leap and joined. I’ll have to say I’m loving their products and am having fun creating. SU is committed to scrapbooking and have bought some of ctmh products including flip flaps and albums coming soon. They are even going to get more 12x12 paper and even some two toned paper. Stay tuned! Enjoy your goodies!

I noticed the ctmh website will redirect to stampinup soon. Maybe together it will become a great company. The albums would be amazing, a lot of folks miss those. I will stay tuned!! Thanks!!

I love to craft but I have degenerative back disease and as much as I love crafting I've been enjoying a break from pain. But now I find I can't bring myself to go into the craft room which is strange as when my friend gets me in there under a guise for something else once I'm in I don't want to leave I'm happy have you ever had that problem ?
@TerryCowansАй бұрын
I haven't had back troubles, but a couple of years ago I was very very tired and had no interest. Doctors found that I had Polycythemia and now with medicine I have much more energy. Hope you feel better, pain is the worst.

cricut is clearly a scummy brand with the subscription bs, so from a function standpoint the fact that this will scan something, on top of the cutting, is what sets it apart right? And then the only other one I know about is silhouette, what is the like ongoing cost difference between that machine and the brother machine like are the blades and the mats and all that stuff pretty comparable like how quickly you go through them
@TerryCowans2 ай бұрын
Cricut did switch years ago to the subscription model -- which many software companies have done. I use Microsoft Office, Quicken, and McAfee and I'm done with the annual expense too! I've had no additional expenses with my Scan N Cut. The software is free and you can bring in other shapes (via the USB port and the software). I've been using my original mats and I use tape to keep my paper in place. Works great! I tell folks to try out the Cricut, Silhoutte, and Brother software before they purchase the machine. They are all very similar, you just need the one that fits your budget and style of software. Good luck! Thanks for watching!!
