JoeBountyHunter are u a 30m bounty player on blox fruits or sum?
@realforkie9 сағат бұрын
Omg, you're a lifesaver. I've been looking for cheap iron farms for skyblock for such a long time and I only had 1 hopper and a limited amount of dirt Edit: Nvm the stupid link doesn't work
@JoeBountyHunter8 сағат бұрын
Try the link again now. The video was set to private before. I have the iron farm video set to "unlisted" since it's not my channel's usual style of content. But if you need it you should be able to watch it.

8:31 / 11:31 i think charity even if you dont get anything back you do you get pride of the knowing you helped people and that you did a good thing

‘Every day is a holiday if you enjoy what you do’ - Sun Zu (probably) More seriously though, I think if you want to stay morally valid then don’t try and make money off the series or channel as a whole through things like merch and patreon. I think it’s not that bad, although maybe I underestimate how much money people want to put into a minecraft KZbinrs coffee mug. Also, in terms of the charity side, I think it’s ok as you are giving people a gateway into charitably, allowing your viewers to donate to charity without the inherent cost of paying themselves. On a chart of KZbin morality, I would say your on the better end - are there more charitable causes, like who we THOUGHT Mr.Beast was? Yes. Are you a monster profiteering off charity? No. Finally, I just wanted to add that your advice about life and KZbin addictions is good. I think a lot of people need to hear that kind of stuff (myself included). Thanks for starting this series, your doing a better job than you think you are, of course it’s good to be aware of your flaws and understand where you go wrong in the world and with morality, but don’t beat yourself up over it. You’re doing better than like 90% of all KZbinrs to be honest. Good luck in the future!

Thanks for the comment! You've raised an interesting point though. The Hardcore series isn't possible unless I monetize the channel. Especially since I'm trying to live on the income from this channel, too. What I'm trying to avoid is people believing that supporting me by buying merch or a patreon membership is contributing to charity somehow. I'm not a charity, and supporting my channel is no different than supporting any other KZbinr. Nobody HAS to buy Merch or pay a monthly subscription, but they have it as an option for many of their favorite creators. For most creators, it's obvious that if you buy their merchandise, they get paid. If you introduce charity into the mix, people can get the wrong idea and believe that buying the merch is equal to giving to charity, and when the creator uses funds to buy a fancy car their fans feel betrayed. While I'm not into fast cars personally, I do want to buy a home and raise a family someday, and that's pretty expensive. As long as people know that if they support me, it's going to pay my rent/groceries in addition to the price per death, then they're getting the full, honest picture of what they're paying for.
@CrazyTotodile8 сағат бұрын
It’s interesting, I’ve never seen another KZbinr think about it that way. And, to be honest, I haven’t either. I agree that you should keep it clear that you don’t intend to profit from the charity work, nor that any donations made to your channel is equivalent to charity. Good point about the monetisation of the series as well, just be careful!

I think you're fine man for not getting canceled. You seem like the wholesome ryan trayhan guy
@JoeBountyHunter19 сағат бұрын
I'm not too worried about getting canceled. I'm still too small for anyone to really care. I just want to have fun making videos without misleading people about my channel's identity and purpose. Ryan Trayhan is probably my favorite KZbinr, so that comparison means a lot. Thanks!

I've been watching you for a while. Glad to see you get this far. I will pay you to eat Oreos out of a trash can though. Does $100 sound good?
@JoeBountyHunter21 сағат бұрын
XD, when I started this channel one of the first videos I made was pretending to fill a 13 gallon trash bin to the brim with Oreos and pouring a ton of milk on it to make a massive bowl of cereal. What I really did was I taped a Tupperware dish inside the top of the trash can and filled that to make it look like I had filled the whole can and I only used half a gallon of milk. I think I'll make a "story time" video about it one day, if properly motivated I could be convinced to recreate the video. haha

Heya new sub that literally found you last night. You're completely fine with the donations. People aren't just watching and subscribing for the charity. I subbed because I liked your content. I see the charity as just something cool you're doing with your well earned views

first of all, welcome back!! and second, ur concerns abt publicizing ur charity are valid and personally i dont think ur vids r similar to Mr. Beast's in that way. He makes the videos off of the prize money or charity work he does in the videos (which is clickable for him) but u add it in like a seasoning to an amazing dish (which. depending on the challenge, is clickable) u dont clickbait ur audience abt how much money u donate or how many subscribers u reached, u base them off the challenge. Mr. Beast, however, makes abt the money and the challenge BUT MAINLY the money, prize money or not. ur videos to me have more soul and humanity than mr. beast because u r honest to ur audience and this video proves my point!! u shared ur feelings abt youtube and ur channel because u believe thats the right thing to do and i love that abt youtubers. the ones who r honest and only want to do yt because they like making videos and memes!! srry for the essay but i hope explained myself well enough and i hope u have an amazing day or night

@lieutenanteclipse99758 күн бұрын
But does it really matter if it’s fake? For all I care most of the hardcore world videos I’ve watched are just survival building. The entertainment value literally would not change if it’s in basic survival mode, or shit, even creative for all I care. And let’s be honest, KZbin video is still in essence, scripted entertainment. You wouldn’t invest hundreds of hours with the risk of all of it going to waste before finishing production. Would you really honestly play all of it again if you died at 80 days on a 100 days “challenge”? That would severely put their posting schedule out of wack, won’t it? Game shows and movies all are scripted as well, doesn’t mean they lose their entertainment value because they “cheated”. It’s just fighting the KZbin Algorithm.
