I did play this, and the original AC was my first! I was both excited and disappointed by the city--- I liked all the new features it gave, but wished there was more to do there. Getting to change my hair was a game changer! If I remember, the copy was also a bit less spicy than the original. I made my friends and enemies the first day in the original Animal Crossing because some of the villagers would be straight up rude for no reason. Oh, and Mr. Resetti gave me a heart attack by pretending to delete my town because my old GC would sometimes turn off for no good reason.

omg yay!! Happy Birthday! I hope you had an extra special day. 🥳 I think as long as the villagers are upgraded to homes instead of tents and you have some established friendship level with them, the one with the highest level will come get you the day of your birthday when you start the game. If you are still in the beginning of the game and the villagers are still in tents it may not trigger the cut scene…but I think you might be able to time hop back to that day on your switch later on if you wanted to to relive it once you get more established 😬 Just be aware of any turnips you have so they don’t spoil first.

Hey there! I think you can find them for sale randomly at the cranny or at the happy home paradise shop if you have the DLC. If not, there are a ton of really amazing friend groups on facebook that help one another find and trade specific items. 🤗

Cute island!🎀 I have a winter island going that's close to done. Was hoping to finish by Xmas but I never finish when I want. Too much pressure!🙀 Lol. Berths is my favorite Hippo too. I like her color and eyes. I don't particularly love the hippos but they're fine. Villagers tend to grow on me too.😊

Hey! Most items you can find for sale at Nook’s Cranny or the HHP dlc shop, and some items are crafted in the game. There are tons of amazing ACNH trading groups online on FB & Reddit that are great resources to catalog items in the game. Another option that some people use are treasure islands that you might be able to find online to obtain items in the game as well. 😊

This was such a fabulous island. Love their Mario themed island ^^ quite a huge fan of the Mario series as the series is home to quite a lot of favorite video game characters.
