this wrap was small enough for you to create a barrier around yourself (a separate layer around the one which was wrapping the player inside- kind of like wrapping yourself). It's much easier to wrap without being squeezed when you do this. The corner loops are useful when you cannot make a barrier around yourself
@anti-anti-virus7 күн бұрын
Oh really?! I thought I hadn't doubled over myself, dammit! I should have ditched the corner loops and done the double. Okay thanks for the advice

@@enfy21 When i initially wrapped - pretty sure no way, especially with all the traffic. So i decided to do corner loops to make things easier, but even as in the wrap got tighter it still didn't occur to me. Hey nice video!! This is the same way I would wrap (like Nepal) and honestly with players like us you have to take certain risks to catch us offguard to headshot in some unorthodox way. The regular "wait for wrapper to cut their head in and then headshot" way would not work because advanced players would always keep close to their body, ready to dodge and you always need to make yourself a threat, so they cant steer too close. Some moments I have identified in the video (where I would have gone for a headshot) are 1:26 and 1:58. I would have gone for the same headshot you did to get him at the end, its a good attempt! If you watch enfy's video "battle against Lovesosa" i think you could learn a lot about how to position yourself to still be a threat. Its a smaller and faster wrap, but very similar. He got me at the end by surprising me through a small gap.
@anti-anti-virus20 күн бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! Yes after watching the video you suggested I think it makes sense having a smaller and tighter wrap, perhaps it creates more opportunities to go for a kill? more unpredictability may be?

i feel like after reaching a certain level of awareness, nearly every player has identical wrap strategies. They all try to predict where the player they are wrapping would go for headshots, and can hardly ever be caught off guard/by surprise. Playing slow snake and praying that when you decide to go for the kill they've been tired down is your best best (only when you're trying to build a high score). When you're playing for fun though, try your best to fight your game knowledge and know when to follow your instincts. I was enetertained and kept guessing when/ how you would die. Your death in this battle is very similar to a few deaths I have had recently.

good stuff! your ping is quite low but your movements seem quite delayed compared to your cursor movement, is your sensitivity low? 0:49 any reason why you went for the small snake instead of the bigger one? 1:03 you're looping over yourself twice (you have a separate layer around yourself), you could use this to create more space so that you don't get squeezed 1:36 awesome! 1:59 nearly had them 2:10 hate players who do this, unless we've established that we're messing around 2:36 try to avoid 'drag races' like this, you're better off killing them some other way, unless you're 100% certain you're ahead, and be cautious even then 4:46 what''s your longest ever wrap? 4:55 you cleared them out well!
@anti-anti-virus22 күн бұрын
Thanks =] I love a nice juicy comment, you did not let me down =] I'd say my sensitivity is lower than average, I counteract the downsides by having my cursor fairly close to the centre compared to most other youtubers I've seen. 0:49 Hmm not really, I tend to default to this action, to "get out of danger"? Also the small snake I know is pretty skilled. But now that you mention it, tbh I really don't know why I didn't go for big snake. I assume you'd go for the bigger snake? 1:03 Yeah your right, it's a habit I have by just applying pressure on the inside. See, when I initially wrapped this snake I was already getting squeezed by a smaller version of the snake I ended up crashing into. But I'm assuming what you mean is that even in that situation I could have started pushing another loop outwards? 1:36 99% luck, 1% try harding 1:59 hehe, I've seen many other youtubers do this so I wanted to look cool you see 2:10 Yeah it's annoying, but I really like to play with this person. I have never landed a successful headshot on them. They are very aggressive, and I've seen them do some pretty epic stuff before. 2:36 Yep, I got pretty sloppy here i must admit. I think turning into their head was a mistake, If i kept going straight then... may be. When two heads are next to each other it should kill right? 4:46 In terms of outer wraps this was probably the longest, how about you? 4:55 thx, I guess this is the advantage of playing slow snake for 20+ mins =] Thanks for the advice... master
@enfy2120 күн бұрын
@@anti-anti-virus 0:49 not sure actually, from the clip I see, I probably also would've gone for the snake on the outside and wondered why I didn't kill the snake inside haha 1:03 right I guess you didn't have the opportunity to do it, and yeah I mean looping around yourself entirely, kind of like a 3d shape?idk. I do this when I'm playing competitive 1:59 I should start making a star shape to bait other players into trying to kill me 2:36 its weird actually. I believe that there's a difference in latency, so what you see on your screen could be a few milliseconds, or in some extreme cases almost a second or more, behind/ahead what the other player sees. You can't know for sure, so I tend to avoid this situations. I have been headshotted by the king so many times even though I was three head-lengths ahead of them on my screen. Same in reverse, as the king, I would be a head length ahead of another player, and despite moving practically in a straight line, they come out ahead. This has partially to do with the leader's headshot capability, but more so the delay. 4:46 I suppose my longest single continuous wrap was also somewhere in the range of 15-20+ minutes, hard to count, and everything feels much longer than it really is.

Thanks very much. if you watch your runs back you'll see there were opportunities for you to kill. When there's pressure coming from the outside they won't go all the way up to the outer snake, this is an opportunity to kill, even if they are curving like this (does that make sense? LMK if it's confusing). However how i killed here is with a low risk headshot, ironically.
@anti-anti-virus29 күн бұрын
I should also add, that if you apply pressure you will "push them out" because they will be scared to take space, then it's much harder for them to do the curvey curve thing cos they will eventually run out of space, this creates an opportunity to kill, hope this was helpful =] thanks for watching
