Hi Amy! I hope you and your family are doing well. I've been watching your channel videos & following you forever now and still really appreciate how functional and simple your planning system is! You're probably having a blast with your kiddos & hubby, but if you ever decide to start posting videos again, I'm sure that I am one of many who would like to see how you guys are doing and to see how you are planning with your new baby addition! Hope you guys are doing great!

I may have said this before lol, but I appreciate how you put the time stamps of when you went back to your planner and how you sectioned your day into 3 main parts. It gave me a lot of ideas I want to try in my planner to see if they'll work well to get back into a routine! I hope you're doing well. Thanks for all your content!

Hi Amy! I hope all is well with you. I’ve just found out I’m expecting my third so this video is exactly what I need! I have really missed your planning videos - I hope to see you here again soon to share some much needed wisdom on how to plan/stay organised as a homemaker with a larger family 😊

Just a general comment here, and I know other folks have also made similar observations. I have been looking at all sorts of 'planner' and 'planning' videos for a while now, and I keep coming back to your channel. Why? I have observed that over the course of your channel history you have continued to refine your method and system, eliminating anything that is extraneous to achieving your goal of staying organized and achieving all of your goals. For me, this really caught my attention. I can look at your later (latest) videos and know that this is a distillation of what works. And when I consider all that you have to manage (busy Moms have obligations and schedules every bit as demanding as the most elite corporate powerbrokers) then I know that I can take your system/methods (in whole or in part) and have them work for me as well. This is an approach that is focused on planning and portability. Something that will alleviate stress and increase productivity. It is not 'scrap booking' crammed into a planner binder. Scrapbooking has its place and is a worthwhile creative past time, but it isn't something that I'm looking for when I seek out how other folks use their planners, whether they're A5 Filofaxes, half letter discbound notebooks, Bullet journal notebooks, or personal sized Filofax or Moterm organizers. So I'm using your videos as a series of tutorials. The question often becomes 'I wonder how Amy handles this kind of information?' And most of the time I've got the answer at my fingertips!! So a big shoutout to you, thanks for sharing your planning journey with us all. It's made an impact!

I'm curious: I noticed that you have your daily habit tracker divided into 3 sections-- is that something like morning/ midday/ evening?

Yes that is how I have it divided up. Sometimes I end up completing the tasks at different times of day but generally that is the time of day I routinely get these items done. Thanks for watching!

I’m curious to know how this system is going 7 months in? I appreciate you must be incredibly busy but would love an update on how this system is working out so far 😊
@plansmeetpaper3663 Жыл бұрын
Hi! I started using this system in November last year and just switched back to personal rings about two weeks ago. I like both systems and plan pretty much exactly the same digitally or on paper. I just switched because I want to be able to work on meal planning and such with my kids around without them seeing me on electronic devices often. Hope that makes sense!

Question: on the daily pages -- how many daily spreads do you have in your planner at any one time? Like 30 spreads for the month? or 7 spreads for the week?
@plansmeetpaper3663 Жыл бұрын
I usually print off about 30 daily pages at a time and then just take them out as my planner gets to feeling too full and move them into my extra binder for archive. I would estimate I usually have 15-20 in my planner at a time, a stack of blank ones in my desk drawer, and several months of old ones in my archive binder. I don’t use a daily page every single day either, just when I want a full plan for the day

Nice clear video and to the point. Thank you! Incidentally, I never had seen someone adapt the holes with a slit before -- very familiar with TUL, Arc, Levenger, and Atoma disc-bound tech, but your adaptation to the ring bound system is pretty neat. Not sure I'd be willing to invest the time in cutting the little slits on a bunch of pages but the proof of concept is interesting.

I am so happy that I've ran across your channel. I watch your videos all the time and reference them because it has helped me plan more functionally. So thank you!!! I really like how you keep to one highlighter for a month. By switching to do the same thing it actually relieved a lot of anxiety that I was putting on myself because BEFORE I wanted everything to match... but now, I am using my planner to actually get more things done throughout my day... more so than before lol (my planner as always been helpful, but it's getting more helpful). #ChattyCaty Hahaha.

This method you are using is brilliant!! For those of us who think like you, it is comprehensive, yet simple and minimal, and, most importantly, immediately do-able. I tend to try and "bring in all the things" and just get a big mess of things to-do (AKA that won't get done because I am now overwhelmed). Thank-you so much for this short but VALUABLE video! (I've already watched it three times and will watch it again, whenever I need to come back to the basics (AKA the doable). May God continue to bless your ministry!! 🌿M <><.

Thanks for watching! When you’re on the starting page of GoodNotes looking at all your notebooks, select the settings button in the top right hand corner. You can then click Notebook Templates and then the “+” sign to create a whole group of templates. Once you’ve created a group you click the “+” to import PDFs as templates. I hope that helps! 😊
