Hi Kendra, Thank you for diligently viewing the operator training videos. However, the only time you lock the casters on the EZ Smart Stand is when you are raising someone without the footplate on. With the footplate on, the casters should remain unlocked so that the machine moves to the person and keeps a good center of balance. See pages 2 and 7 of our Operator Instructions for additional information.

Hello Marie. The sling used in the training video is our Deluxe Sling. It comes in a variety of fabric choices. You can find all of our sling choices on our website at ezlifts.com We are happy to reach out on the phone as well if ou have any questions regarding specific slings and their best uses.

@@trendyavrilposer it is. It is made for a transfer and then to be removed until needed again. We also have slings and fabric options if a sling needs to remain under a person.

Hi Kim, The harness secures the patient and prevents a complete fall. They can either regain their footing or a chair or wheelchair can be brought to lower the patient onto the surface.
