LMAO yeah, I struggled so hard on that, its especially funny after Lock talks about Leah's speech module being broken XD I was super scared of the Apollo duel, because of the random level spike of monsters in the previous area XD

It actually messes with my brain, as I have practiced for so long to show my german accent as little as possible and as soon as I force it out my tongue wants to stick to it 😂And yeah only learned today that the devs were german, makes sense with how well they stereotyped Lukas as the German MMO player and also sprinkled in some puns :D

@@DEsArcade I will play and stream Ys 9, but most definitely not in japanese, since I'd like to be able to follow the story, since it seems way more important for the enjoyment of it than in previous parts (my japanese is limited to anime vocabulary :D). But since I have a lot of other series I wanna continue to stream, no issues with being patient :D

​@@SamiSalamiGER I treat Japanese games like foreign films without sub titles. I just make up my own story . For example , a couple is arguing. The women is clearly upset and the man looking guilty. She cries with anger as shes tries to make a point. I'm guessing the man forgot to bring home milk from the store. :)

@@DEsArcade Yeah, I mean if I hadn't much on my list I might go for that as well, but I have no issue with being patient about it and I think for streaming the stories are quite relevant (depends on the game) and Ys 9 doesn't look as gameplay focussed (I am sure it will still be a great game)

The funniest thing about this game was, that we were both playing meme decks on rank 22 and deserved to run into each other XD

It used to work like that, it was obviously a bug, but was for a very long time in the game. I think it was fixed when they also reworked and made the order of all actions consistent. Which was - I think - early 2018. The reason it worked that way, was because Blizzard first dealt the damage, which triggered the minion spawn before the freeze effect would occur. Back then all aoes would sequence their damage, allowing effects to occur within. There are still effects that happen inbetween (like card draw from Acolythe and armor gain from Armorsmith), but mostly they made it so, that aoes go off, and effects happen after. During closed beta when you would consecrate a board with a cult master (draw cards for each minion that dies), when the cultist was played last, you would draw all the cards from the other minions that died, because cultist would die last. They mostly got rid of these "inbetween" interactions, in fact I think the classic cards might be the only ones left (but they obviously fixed cult master). The only exception to that was (and is now in wild) defile and that legendary, their aoes happen sequenced, with breaks inbetween, in which all minion effects are allowed to trigger.
