It is indeed a very good unit with enough functionalities and settings options. It is responsive, nice display and comes with everything in the box to get you going right away. You connect your phone to the unit and drive. I have Android units with 4 gb of RAM on other cars and they are not so responsive like this RC14 i just bought from Lamtto. No more android headunits for me, this is the best option when you can't integrate it into the dashboard or you don't want or care to do that. Easier on your wallet, good set of functions and very responsive. What else do you want? Will post a video of the unit with a link soon for people who want to know more from someone that bought it.

Why don't you respond to emails? Bought a display last week and as of today you did not ship it. I bought it to have it sooner not in january after the holidays. No shipping confirmation, no response to email, nothing. That is a shady way to do business, you behave like a ghost brand. In fact, by not responding, you are offering me the proof i need to talk to my bank a ask them to open chargeback procedures.

I recently bought this exact screen, it works but there are two things I'm not happy with: The FM transmitter is very poor sound quality, no stereo but even for mono it sounds bad. The unit has a SDcard reader and it seems it should be able to play music from it, but the player on the device is poor, you can't even open a folder or anything. For the rest the unit works well for the money, the screen could be a bit more responsive though... and the lowest brightness isn't low enough. Oh yeah, auto dimming also doesn't work for me.

Regarding the sound quality of the FM transmitter, we recommend using the Bluetooth audio output instead, which generally provides clearer, richer stereo sound. You mentioned that the auto-dimming feature does not work. Can you confirm if you are using an Android phone? The auto-dimming feature is currently available for iPhones, but not yet for Android phones. Regarding the SD card reader, it is primarily used for customizing the startup screen and firmware updates, not for directly playing music. To play music, the easiest way is to connect your phone and use the music app that appears on the RC17 screen. This will allow you to access and play any music stored on your phone directly through the device. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us. :)

@@tolapoto To change the startup screen, please prepare a 1560*720P JPG image (what you want) first and name it "boot_logo". Also, a TF card and a card reader are needed. Here are the update steps: 1. Read the card in the device to format it on the device, NOT on PC, and then transfer the boot_logo.jpg 2. Insert the TF card after starting the device. 3.
