I have this exact same vacuum. My only gripe with it is the hose; I hate it. It's too stiff and short, and whenever you try and clean with the extension it pulls the whole vacuum over. But for a Chinese-made Vacuum, I guess it's okay. Good for hardwood floors, that's for sure.

Does the handle make a "click" sound for anyone else as you pull it backwards? Almost like it's not engaged all the way? I've checked mine to make sure it's all tight, but still keep getting the clicking sound on each pull back.

Mine doesn’t. Something is amiss with yours. Have you been able to isolate exactly where on the handle it’s making the clicking noise?

I wish there were more drones with higher fps cameras. I would take 1080 fps at 240 fps over 4k at 60 fps any day. You'll get much clearer videos when your drone is moving around.

love your vacuum reviews and love all you dogs, do you think it would be helpful if you guys have all wood floor.
@EastTactics
@EastTactics 2 жыл бұрын
Having all wood floors would definitely be interesting. Easier… Hard to say. I might be more apt to buy a really nice Robo vac if I had all wood floors. But the shark vacuum like I said is in my opinion the best of the best when it comes to having carpet and it also works really well on wood floors with a simple adjustment of A button press.

We love this vacuum! Hands-down if we didn’t have it we would be flooded with hair. The only real downside is that it’s not very maintenance friendly and we had a belt break. However since we paid a little extra for the warranty we simply called up shark. And they sent us a complete brand new lower head assembly. So we figured anytime it breaks we’re just going to reach out to them and get a new assembly. In fact if they’ve got an option to renew a warranty will probably take them up on it when the time comes. Quite frankly as much as I wish it were bulletproof and impervious to wear. It’s like any other vacuum and parts both wear and potentially break. So the warranty is a must, but that could be said about any high-end electronic over a few hundred bucks. But I still will say, hands-down… The best vacuum I’ve ever owned.

@@EastTactics So far there are only three corded vacuums with actual functioning anti hair wrap technology: Shark Vertex, Dyson Ball Animal 3, and the newer Shark Stratos. They all happen to be from the largest and most established vacuum companies with the largest R&D budgets. The main gripe people have with them is that they are not as durable as some of the more lesser known but boutique brands such as Sebo, Meile, or Riccar. Those brands make really durable vacuums which can last more than a decade of hard or even commercial use. But the problem is those vaccums tend to be... behind in technology. In the past, these premium brands were in general better in every way than the more well known brands. But recent, in the past several years or so, the performance of Dyson's, Shark's, and other similar brands has skyrocketed. Now they even outperform Sebo/Meile/Riccar's out of the box with their features and cleaning ability. And that's not a good sign for brands which have products that cost twice as much. But still, their vacuums tend to be significantly more durable. If those boutique brands brands could design durable long lasting vacuums that also are competitive in terms of features and technology, I think that would be a miracle.

@@frenchfrys12 I agree with you 100%. Here’s a work around. Simply buy the warranty. And be vigilant about taking advantage of it. As soon as your shark vacuum gets to a point where you feel it’s not performing because of where etc. Or if it in fact simply breaks etc. Reach out to shark and take advantage. I’ve already done so once and they sent me a complete new head without question. I’ll do it five times over for the last of the warranty. And then at the end of the day if my warranty expires. Perhaps I just buy a new one or an extended warranty. But yeah I hear you. That’s pretty much my only gripe with this shark vacuum. Is it’s not the most user-friendly as far as myself fixing or replacing parts. But the warranty seems to be well respected

If you pick up the warranty (which you should with any electronic or appliance that cost over 100) then there's really not much to fret about, when something breaks, just report it, and they send you a completely new head. I'd still be curious which vacuum you recommend then : ). Thx for commenting.

If the person in the video had bought a SEBO, Meile, or Riccar, he would have sold them in less than a week because they would be tangled with hair to the point of being unusable. Not to mention that he would be spending $10 in bags from just this video alone.

You need to pop off the soft roller (blue switch on side) and clean behind it, clean the teeth, and clean the roller itself. Also the metal cyclone in the dustbin occasionally collects hair and it needs to be removed as well. I have the same model as you btw, that’s why I wanted to let you know to clean the roller.

Dyson has perfected anti tangle brush roll and did not compromise carpet cleaning performance on the V15 and the Shark powerfins and the Vertex are not approved by the Carpet and Rug institute due to their lack of deep cleaning performance and can void carpet warranty.
