I read recently that Thom York’s vocal strength and distinctiveness comes from the seamless transition from baritone up to falsetto or some such thing 😂 Anyway For sure Kevin K has this down, and original songwriting to die for Yikes gorgeous whistle True musicianship

#THECIVILWARS #BARTONHOLLOW This is one of the best renditions of Billie Jean I have ever heard. #MichaelJackson would give you both a standing ovation. You did a magnificent cover. This is one of the reasons I adored these two. Their ability to take a song from another artist, in another genre, and make it their own. #JoyWilliams #JohnPaulWhite, we have not given up hope for a reconciliation. We are counting the days until the two of you are making gorgeous music together again 😀👍👍👍🧡💚💛💙💖❤️💜

A very nice cover of MJ's classic.....not the best, but a very unique version...I LIKE IT!!!!💘😋🥰😇🤗

This song was way different back then. Lot faster paced. I love both versions. Because i like the pre course riff on this one that isnt on the recording.

I remember going for a beer in Oxford back in the 1990s, and finding that Supergrass were there in the pub, playing pool. It was in one of the old locals off the Cowley Road. We put our money on the table, watched them play, waited our turn, then played pool ourselves. Everyone chatted and sipped their beer like normal. It wasn't like we were in the presence of rock gods. It was just another night down the boozer in Oxford. That's the way to be famous, if you can possibly pull it off.

Every time their music comes up, I just get sad they broke up. Here’s to hoping for a reunion someday when old wounds heal.

It is one of the greatest crimes of our generation that we only got two albums and five abysmally short years from this incredible duo. The chemistry was palpable, and what they created was beauty. I still get sad about it.
