Why do you always want to camp far away from others?

Those instant mashed potatoes and Nathan's hot dogs are one of my faves!

We had 100° temps in Northern California for like 10 days at the beginning of October. We're used to getting an ocean breeze and fog over the SF Bay, usually after 3 - 5 days. I was cooking my brain with heat exhaustion and had to check into a motel for a few days. After 6 year's of van life, this was definitely the most miserable, and life threatening, experience I've had. Watching your video definitely makes me feel good 😍

Glad to see you back 🐾 my daughter & her bf went up there I think last week and she told me the entrance was closed - uncertain why but I know it’s winter like at certain altitudes already. I’ve had a snow storm roll in on a July hike to fish for a bit in Arapaho Ntl Forest, which turned to lightning. Be safe - keep your eyes and ears open out there Riley & Tyson !!!! (I want to put him in my backpack❤️)

My brains are soooooooooo scrambled right this minute, Riley!! When was this filmed? I ask for I'm in Edinburgh. It's cold and dark. It feels like it is always cold and dark. But it isn't for- chiefly - it's cold, dark and uber-wet. So to see you in a t-shirt....I can't cope!

He stayed back at my parents house while I went on a short solo trip. Sadly dogs weren't allowed at the great basin park, which is where I was in the last video :(

This is so wild with you walking into those ovens, love the camping spot in the shade. Gonna share this w my daughter since she’s out there now visiting old haunts. I’d love to sky watch bare eyes + telescope. Lots of cool stuff in your state. They say desert people eat super spicy to sweat and so then, cools them off. I’ve just heard it but I adore extra hot hatch green chiles and I literally ate them every day in southern NM. Maybe next time, Tyson 💌

Yes,it's amazing how stone structures can be very cool in side, years ago,i lived in Switzerland, long story....but i was there for 5 years. Went to see many castles, the one that stood out the most was a castle in Schafhausen, the great hall was stone and interestingly,it was dome shaped, and i recall it was high summer and very hot out,but as soon as you entered the dome,it was actually very cold inside.

Hi Riley, new subscriber here. I'm a full-time nomad off-grid guy, so I enjoy your videos 👍. If you're solo-hiking/camping, my advice is wear a whistle and carry bear spray . Bear spray is not only useful on four-legged beasts but also on two -legged beats as well. Enjoy your journey and be safe. P. S. If you're going to be hiking , I'd definitely invest in a decent set of hiking poles. They'll save your ankles & back .

I’ve been watching your videos in spurts to catch up (somewhat), following Bunny for a long time and just realized today I didn’t have notifications on. That was a little wordy but the main reason I’m replying this time is that your dad is so adorable! ! ! What a hero to support you and Tyson road tripping. *I brought my first car home in the 70s before computerized anything and dad made me rotate all 4 tires, then taught me the basics so I wouldn’t be ripped off as a young woman. I can’t begin to tell you how much that paid off. Keep on truckin’, I’ve had freak things happen that were frustrating but believe my angels & guides had their reasons. Last year I drove through FL in Dec to stay a night w my son and his family on my way to visit my declining mom. Next day I’m in Ala, close to MS and the call came in I’d been exposed to strep. Sigh, turned around in some of the worst weather ever. I’m convinced it was because when I really needed to haul a**, my daughter flew down and drove w me, then my son in the panhandle flew out to drive me back after mom had passed. I love your positive attitude and taking things one step at a time. You, Bunny and Dee are my new favorites.I follow a lot of Van & RV folks but can relate to each of you the most. When cell phones first came out, my parents forced me to buy one bc I was a solo road warrior whenever I had time off and the kids were at their dad’s. It helped to stop their worry except no one knew how many no service zones we had back then. Or I just took the road less traveled. Thanks again for chronicling your adventures.

Congrats on 5k! I am glad to be part of the gang :) I have been watching your videos for a couple months. Your video and calming voice inspires me to go car camping and cross country more. I enjoy using my electric pan to cook while camping outdoors and want a better power station for it.
