Because Globalization, from its beginning, is for the rich and powerful.

Why does no one bring up the fact that if carbon is the whole issue, plant as many trees and reclaim areas for mangroves as possible. They absorb carbon. It’s basic science I learnt in school. But I guess that they could easily manipulate data so they can come up with a reason for what I was taught leading to a false conclusion. And then there’s the basic, “duh!” situation where kids know all about because they are taught it at school, it’s on KZbin, it’s everywhere. That is how you know they are pushing an agenda. Unless they actually teach kids about solar minimums and maximums or our position in our galaxy and impact they all have on our climate.

Really well done video. The Amas "intuneness" to my heavenly Fathers World is inspiring! I am a spearfisherman & find the Amas statements about the love for diving to be...beautiful &, for me, relatable. Thankyou!

Perhaps the use of all-electric helicopters specifically purposed and designed for short-range lifts (less than 20 miles round trip) to specific trailheads cold minimize the need for roads, and the thus the damage to the soil and mountains.

This lecture gives me the math and science to support what I always knew but couldn't describe. Now that we understand what is happening, we can change it. Thank you for this presentation.

Problem of inequity is problem of heart. Equity goes where the heart goes. To pay families to send their children to school makes sense, provided what they will study will enhance their farming or whatever services are needed in the village.

Thank you for posting this insightful lecture and discussion. My takeaway is that globalisation is a modern form of utilitarianism in which the rich get richer, more countries (emerging) get an uplift, but fundamentally, there remains a minority of inequality and poverty with an ever increasing gap between rich and poor. Utilitarianism is all about the greater good and the majority benefiting.

In simple terms, nothing (no matter how noble or beneficial for society) gets funded if investors do not find the endeavour profitable based on the financial and economic models that academics have created. And that is just the narrative.. But the truth is . . .

University graduate economist are too narrow in their models and principles. They are neither true computational finance theorist nor true political economist. They don't see the riches of the few. Anything against will fire them from academic position.

Economics is the art of finding some complicated math to mimic what people in real life already know. Anyone involved in global trade knows this from experience and nothing is surprising. But to economists, "wait - that ridiculously simplistic comparative advantage theory is not the real story? what? I can get papers published now."

status quo : now global is good-looking but misleading deceptive title driven by some traditional imperialism who suppresses down genuine universal power and UN. They promote BTS AI space industry and many different names but all same beneath just to maintain army military force and jewish capitalism... make more and more wars and isolate ppl, and shut down national borders..... in the name of global. please remember that international conference who first put climate change on table and net-zero have been funded by oil gas companies who are making endless wars in middle east...

What the hell are you talking about. The main aim of globalization was to create inequality and Western domination over the world. They abandoned it when China took control of globalization.

How can one accept intellectual and opportunity inequality (the basic premise of A, B, C and D over time) and expect financial equality ? It will be wrong to over-simplify. "Life Finds it's Way".

Globalization is only about uniting to contain and destroy the Soviet Union. Once that was done United States is no longer interested in paying the bills of everyone security. China, Japan, UK, France, Australia, Canada etc came along for the ride because they all benefited from it. The Middle East only became important because Globalization needed a lot of energy. To maintain the alliance USA needed to keep to oil flowing to various oof the globe.
