Poland is in Central Europe, not Eastern Europe: geographically and mentally. The Iron Curtain fell more than 30 years ago, and it really is high time to understand that that division of Europe no longer exists. The geographical Centre of Europe is in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, or in the East of Poland (depending on what method of measuring is used). East Europe means ruSSia. If you say that Poland is an Eastern European country then you are insulting Poles with this statement. East is ruSSia and other countries to the east. And we certainly do not want to be associated in any way with this barbaric country.

If you plan to visit Mdina, and you should, be aware that only residents are allowed to drive within the city walls. Hire cars are a No, NO, Fortunatly the local bus will get you there cheaply. A 1 day travel card valid on all routes is only 2.5 Euros.

I've been to that bar mleczny and it's ok at best. There are definitely better ones. Excellent video. The palace of culture and science is now protected by law and can't be demolished.

milk bar is low cost bistro which used to be popular among students and pensioners, I would not call it restaurant and for sure not "traditional". It is basically fast and cheap but lower quality than restaurant (still better than majority of fast food chains)

Don't compare Warsaw to NYC. NYC os a cesspool full of riff raff and third world infrastructure and very filthy streets and no law and order. Warsaw looks way way way more sophisticated and elegant than sh!thole NYC.
