Great video of the days when we still had a real railway. Goulburn has changed a lot since 1992. Great variety of trains, oh the memories, thanks Mick, enjoyed it.

Well it looks like in the early 90's you could still do some pretty epic trainspotting back in that time with a sea of blue skies, orange and grey livery and maybe even some blue & gold if you're lucky?! I can also see the Harris Gresser as well, man that would nice if someone had video footage of that?! And those V-line information booths are epic!!! I tried to do trainspotting last year and apart from barely anything worth seeing. I was given my marching orders from ticket inspectors sigh...I missed out on the 1980's/90's timeline when it was insanely good to be a trainspotter......

Thanks for that, it bought back memories of when I was a fireman at Dynon before going to Benalla in about 1984. A short 2 year career for me and I often regretted leaving. The A class was just new then. They were great on the pass! Fond memories for me but I think the job was at it's peak (of laziness for a firemen)then. After that down to driver only. I looked at a section of track near Chiltern a couple of years ago, and with the concrete and two position signalling, it seemed like a hundred years ago that I was running up and down that line. Wooden sleepers and semaphore signals from Ned Kelly's days.
