You've got a super old school review style. Like KZbin 2009. I enjoy it, but I think it might limit your audience reach. It's like very early classic game room but without the jokes.

If a movie licensed game is at the very least mildly entertaining, it's a win.

Word of advice, when you’re editing your videos, you should really put footage of the thing that you’re praising about the game on the screen. You spent a ton of time, capturing footage of the games, but zero time capturing footage of the features that you really liked. It made watching the video feel weird because you’re talking about this really cool thing but you didn’t show what the cool thing was.

Who tf plays Mortal Kombat for the story alone? Wth? The story for MK games were always serviceable when you see better story-driven games like Bioshock, Half Life and Resident Evil games.

Mortal Kombat Deception is a hell of a game. It probably has my favorite adventure mode of any fighting game. Fighterz looks real good. I should prob fork over the 10 bucks while it’s on sale. DBZ is one of the anime’s of all time after all.

I can agree with your top 2 even though I don't care for fighting games very much, Soulcalibur and mortal kombat have the best single player experiences.

i think the violence is the coolest part of this game from what iv seen. some match types are cool but i agree it seems weird that some can only be done 1 v 1. the create a character feature is what i always love about wrestling games so it is unfortunate that its lacking because that is a huge selling point for me with these games

Yeah just like I thought, this is a "Wait for a sale" kind of game. I had a feeling it would be like this. Would be difficult to make characters in that I'd like to put into the game.

Awesome review! Love the montage. Controls and exploration have not aged perfectly for Prime, I guess I’m forgiving because the quality of the adventure is excellent imo. Good luck with the other Prime games if you ever try them lol.

i'd love to play this game on pc, better graphics, bigger screen.....but using keyboard only? I'd play it if the game had "controller" support, ie, ps3 pc, or xbox 360 (tried everything, only cycling between games worked) not a big fan of side scrolling with keyboard. at least I got it working on my PSP.

Holy smokes, Axel's first channel review! Popcorn is on deck. The Collection montage after the review intro bit was absolute fire, well done there. I can agree on the benefit of save and load states, however, I disagree that rewind feature should be included on all collections or any for that matter. Simply having access to it has jaded my experience and perspectives on games I've used it for. To each their own, though, I suppose. Circle of the Moon, you already know my feelings on. I largely agree with your assessment though I'll likely never finish it. It had a lot to like and the difficulty was a lot to dislike. Probably a good starting point for the systems GBA games. The footage for Aria of Sorrow looks good but the gameplay for (e)Harmony tops it imo. Still looks like a smooth play. It is sad to hear it suffers some of that Metroid weapons-to-waste syndrome though. I started (e)Harmony of Dissonance for whips and giggles a month or so ago and I'd say I was impressed. That opening scene with the giant knight chasing you across the bridge was super memorable for me and I'm glad you included it in the review. The music you chose is also nostalgic. Idk, I could see the validity of your criticisms and maybe I need to put more time into it but I definitely preferred it over Circle of the Moon. Hey, you know Castelvania: Dracula X is also in this --- oh wait, never mind, you beat me to it lolol. I think I played a small bit of this one on PS4? It's fine, I guess. You sure this is your first review? Seems too good to be your first time in this rodeo. Well done, my friend. 2 thumbs out of 2.

Red's the best and only team choice, of course! Anime Yoshi field goal is a helluva shot, even if it doesn't go in! 8:12 thank goodness for the redemption shot! "Look at Yoshi celebrate: he's so excited!" lol! I'm not into soccer, and I'm sure I'd suck at this, but damn does Mario Strikers look fun. In due time, if they update the customization settings like you craved and much akin to Mario Golf: Super Rush, I'd look more into it. As of now though, I'd just enjoy watching you play it.
