The best simple action to preserve teeth , is a wooden tooth pick. I live in Thailand and they care about their teeth. Any restaurant or pavement cafe will always have tooth picks available on the tables . I have got into the habit of doing just that after every meal , have apart from a couple of extractions from the bottom backs and the same from the top. which isnt bad for an 84 yo , who hates dentists.
