@Memiselphi It's not simple. It's constant hard work. When you look at EXO's new build and how he's constantly having to reinforce things or Jerry ain't loud and how he is constantly breaking things. These vehicles are simply not designed to handle that kind of pressure. It's a struggle. Lol

The thing is, they have more people around that’s available to do the job whenever he needs it done, because of how long they been online, visible, as well as so much of the work he does himself. I don’t do any of that type of work myself, so that leaves me at a complete disadvantage of being able to get things done in a timely fashion.

I wonder if there's a guy or shop in your area that specializes is adding braces and doing wood roofs, etc... I doubt your the only guy in your area with a big build that's tearing up the vehicle. Maybe go to a bass head event and ask around. Or find a group online. Idk, I'm just thinking out loud.

Well, the issue is, I know a guy who does it, I scheduled an appointment for him to do it, he said he had to get his welder to weld my metal before he did it, so I waited on him to set up the welder, and I contacted him in a week to check the progress of when I can bring my truck, and he said, I booked appointments out for over a month. Good luck! Left me hanging, and this was a month before slamology. So I ended up getting a last minute appointment with my brother, who eliminated my moonroof, and welded everything, even added extra trick metal bracing, because he doesn’t specialize in doing wood roofs, so, he welded bracing, and added a triple layer of dynomat, and it lasted for 3 months. But the pressure broke the welds, and I already paid him, so he’s going to redo it, and we’re going to add more bracing, stripper poles, and do the quarter panels as well. That’s why it’s not done in wood. The person who supposed to have did it, left me hanging. And my brother haven’t did a wood roof before. So, ima just have to let him redo it, so my money won’t go down the drain.

@@rmh5102 well, with a single woofer setup, you should be good. When you start going past the 4k rms mark, is probably when you’re probably going to start breaking stuff, in my opinion.

Well, it is fall, so the weather is getting cold, so that’s pretty much my reasoning to tone it down. I don’t think I want to make it worse! I probably end up breaking the window, and I really don’t want to.

Memiselphi, you the champ🏆,but you should turn your sub box around so the port faces the inside and not the tail gate, not telling what to do but it will be the best because that cold weather is going to continue making things worse and you do have great sounds for your port to face the inside of the suv.

Taramps been designing their amps like this. It’s a full bridge design, so I guess they figured they can get away with only dual inputs. And they are not 4/0
