It isn't rough??? This has vest restraints and updated Vekoma track. Same track used for the Great Nor'easter 2017 retrack.

mayan was one of the last old gen slc's that vekoma built so its not even close to being a prototype

It is rougher than the other roller coasters there, which is expected for a SLC. Though, this is the smoothest SLC that I've been on

Formula was our surprise Hit when me and the wife went to Energylandia. It's way more fun than you would expect

We really enjoyed it! Definitely gets overlooked by some of the other thrill coasters in Energylandia! We only had a 10 minute queue so went on it a few times 😁

People here saying hyperia is better are just biased because they're from the UK. I am also British, Hyperion is clearly better. Faster, longer.

We agree that its a fast and long ride so we didn’t come off feeling like we wanted more from it. It ticks most of the boxes for a brilliant ride! But we are looking forward to riding hyperia soon and comparing the two 🎢

@QueueTheFun exactly. I'm not a hyperia hater at all, I loved it. Went a couple weeks ago, rode it twice and it's the best in the UK. But Hyperion is an absolute beast. You feel the speed for way longer than you do on Hyperia, the elements are just as funky, fast paced wave turns, long airtime hills, that crazy inversion before the low to the ground section. It wins in every department other than first drop (still debatable)

@@Gakpolice We agree with everything you have said regarding hyperion. It had all the thrills of a big coaster with wavy fast paced turns and the close to the ground inversions and turn really make you feel like you're going even faster. It was my personal favourite coaster until we went on Velocicoaster not long after. We absolutely can't wait to try hyperia when we visit thorpe park in the new season, the UK theme park scene has been needing more thrill coaster and from what we have heard online, hyperia is the best in the country!
