The bell toss from the furious woman at 18:09 was spectacular. They almost had to fetch it from Clapham.

Would love to know when this was transmitted Kent Walton to wrestling like eggs to bacon wonderful commentary. Out of interest when the wrestling was taken off 😡😡😡😡. Is it true that Kent directed blue movies ?? I seem to remember the late great dickie Davies in a documentary saying something like that ?? How I wish could go back to these times

Never seen this bout before of the many World of Sport and ITV wrestling appearances Kendo made. So thanks for posting this. I always wondered if some guys wouldn't take the Kamikaze Crash so then Kendo used the leg grapevine as his main finisher. Some guys would have been too big to go up in the Crash and take it safely too however strong Kendo was.

Kendo the legend v whoever he was,brings back memories of egg bacon and tomatoes as I watched world of sport wrestling, nothing now is as good,American wrestling lacks finesse ,brings back happy memories and Kendo is still the best.

When I asked you about the mistake in the first video - no one seemed to have spotted it, so I will now tell you - It was when Gorgeous George introduces Kendo in the wrestling ring, after Kent Walton says George has taken the microphone from the MC - the image that went up was the wrong one, it should have been kendo in the full samurai outfit, which it now is.....Loz.

I was gutted by this. I thought Kendo had lost his Undefeated streak. I later found out Kendo had a few DQ losses like this before and it really wasn't the end of the world.
@user-pi8ju7om5i17 күн бұрын
Kendo lost some tag matches but his partner would likely take the pin/submission. His being undefeated was he hadn't lost by pin or submission.
@kurtvanderbogarde840217 күн бұрын
@@user-pi8ju7om5i He could and did lose singles bouts by DQ and he could lose tag matches, as you say, provided he was not the one who took the deciding fall. Submission or knockout. He would lose his mask if he was knocked out in a two knockouts tag match for the opening or equalising fall, even though his partner could go on to win the match 1 on 2. It happened to The Spoiler in 1988 when Big Daddy KOd him for the equaliser, he was unmasked as Drew McDonald even though Rasputin could have gone on to beat Daddy for the decider( in the event Rasputin refused to fight on.)

It’s no wonder people claim wrestling is fake - the ease with which Pete Roberts was given 2 public warnings whilst Nagasaki constantly broke the rules was ridiculous!!! Also, was it not illegal to throw your opponent over the top rope?
@boldverg484Ай бұрын
Nobody said it wasn't a show, but the best wrestlers all have a Marshall arts background
@kurtvanderbogarde8402Ай бұрын
Roberts committed worse offences- dragging Nagasaki out by the foot and attacking him ringside and twisting his leg around the rope to weaken it for a submission. Also for a throw outside the ring to be an offence, you have to dump an opponent over facing forwards from a crotchhold position. Kendo backdropped his opponent backwards from a fireman's carry position. It would only have got Kendo a second public warning if he had done a forward facing dump of Roberts. Roberts had just hit the referee, he was lucky not to be DQd for that.

Please be careful Kendo/Peter, as worried you might hurt yourself, damage yourself irreversibly by having one more match at your age, as would not want you to taint your wonderful career and entertainment you have brought us all in the last 60 years.. How I cherish the memories of those Thursday evenings at the Southampton Guildhall.
