Andros is a great choice, id say in the 2020's tourism is higher than it ever was but it stable. I spent my kid years almost every summer in Andros, then my father decided to build a summer house from 2003-2010 I pretty much spent 5 weeks on Andros.

Where would you recommend staying if we want to rely on buses mainly? Is ATV rental safe?

Sifnos has good public bus transport. Any destinations mentioned in this timetable are good options: www.roomsinsifnos.com/useful/bus-schedules You can rent ATV’s and the infrastructure is suitable. Personally not a fan of these top heavy wheels. I prefer a rental car (30/40 eu pd off season). Enjoy your stay!

Thank you! Yes, fully agree that pronounciation isn’t always authentic. English is not my native language, and hiring professional voice-overs is too expensive at this point, so I use AI for the voices for now. The downside is that some location names get butchered..thanks for the feedback and I’m sure we’ll be able to improve on this in the future.

Spent Easter Week there. Soooooo beautiful! People are friendly. Places to stay are exceptionally well-kept. The food was good but I was spoiled by eating on Crete for a year and a half(best on the planet). Easter is a spectacular holiday in Greece and the best in Hydra. I never wanted to leave!❤🎉❤

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I get that some pronunciation is a bit off and yes, the voice-over is AI-generated. My reasoning is simple: 1. English is not my native tongue (I’m Dutch), so me doing it myself will probably be worse than AI. 2. Outsourcing a voice-over is, with near daily uploads and 200 minutes of content per month, not in the budget at the moment (Upwork and Fiverr are not as cheap as some people say..not for quality at least). 3. I use a customized ElevenLabs voice-over, so I do try to get the quality as close to the real deal as possible. In my videos I try to provide as much value as I can, through research and editing. If that is overshadowed by pronunciation errors, then my vids might not be for you ✌️

Unfortunately from all mentioned islands only Nisyros, Meganisi and mabe Andros Kythira aren't crowded for some of the summer season.All others are almost as crowded as Santorini and Mykonos.

interesting material. I've been to many of these places but not all of them. I have serious reasons to remove Milos from this list... However, Crete is definitely missing here; in which you will find real islanders living on this island all year round (not only during the season) and for entire generations. It is the source of European civilization hidden among mountains over 2,000 meters high and hundreds of hidden beaches. One lifetime is not enough to get to know this island. Definitely I also recommend Amorgos (with sentiment for The Big Blue;)

Folegandros has beautiful beaches in addition to a beautiful sunset and amazing chora. Kithira is on the list, so is Andros. Many thanks for very good ideas! With my love for Greek islands, I should admit that I did not like Syros at all, and also it is not a queit island- it is the administrative capital of Kyklados.
