I'm German/Polish and my dad played accordion professionally. (He also tried giving me lessons, which didn't work out too well... lol) He played gigs up into his 80's but finally his full size accordion (41 keys on the right hand and 120 buttons on the left hand) got too heavy. We tried to get him to switch to a "button box" like these gentlemen are playing but... old dogs, new tricks. I love polkas, but being in California they are few and far between, but mariachi accordion music is a great substitute. btw, Flaco has played with the Mavericks a lot, check it out.

Ya apesta la envidia de los narcissistas mexicanos que se creen dueños de la musica, si no fuera por robarle la accordion y la polka a los alemanes no existiera la norteña mexicana, si no fuera por robarle la cumbia a los Colombianos no existiera la musica grupera mexicana, se dedican a robarle musica e instrumentos a otras culturas y no quieren que otros inventen su propio estilo musical y cultural, que quede claro que esta Musica es TEXANA, los texanos reinventaron la norteña mexicana y la marcaron con su propio estilo y le pusieron mas Sabor, bajense de su alucinante nube

Lo único que cambiaron fue el idioma. La tuba es hispánica al igual que la cumbia. Ya que todos fuimos uno durante el imperio español bajo los Habsburgos.

La musica texana no usa ese instrumento tan feo, sonido de flatulencia, y la cumbia viene de colombia y tiene ritmos africanos, la musica texana tiene melodias de country y blues, algo que no se encuentra en la musica norteña, y eso es lo que hace a la musica texana diferente de la norteña mexicana, un ejemplo Con este grupo texano kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3rZZIyQa9KpiZIfeature=shared

No me digas que la guitarra también es de Inglaterra. Acuérdate que los irlandeses tienen lazos más fuertes con España que con Inglaterra. También todo el oeste del río Mississippi fue parte de espana

@alejandroalonso5386 la accordion viene de ALEMANIA y la cumbia de COLOMBIA y tiene reminencias AFRICANAS y el country estadounidense tiene reminencias ingleseas, irlandesas, escosesas y africanas, vete a educar sobre musica e instrumentos extranjeros porque se ve que no sabes NADA, y nadie esta hablando de la guitarra. Es mas guitarra española es un simple clon de los instrumentos de cuerda del MEDIO ORIENTE que trajeron los arabes y moros cuando colonizaron por 800 años la Tierra ibera

Los llevaron consigo los instrumentos de cuerda a Iberia no a Inglaterra. Colombia fue parte del virreinato de Perú bajo el mando del rey Habsburgo de España. Nada de lo que haz dicho apunta al inglés. Todo apunta a Iberia y a los hispanos. Solo son piratas los ingleses
