So it was decided that the band would ditch all that hippie stuff and take a more "hard rock" direction and so, armed with a new bassist and singer, set out. "Hard Lovin' Man" was the very first track recorded for the boys' debut into the heaviness, titled "In Rock". My god.....or should I say "My Lord"?

Not saying that Stairway is not a great tune… but, in my opinion..this blows it away… this is Deep Purple at their finest… 1970… they were peers with Zeppelin and Sabbath… they had so much talent…like Uriah Heep and early Scorpions, Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy.. list goes on and on… but Purple were the “ stuff” back then

Good was never supposed to be good, it wasn't created for the good. It wasn't created by god, it was a trick by the devil, the woman devil that you know as your mother. The real god.

I'm someone born in 2005, and i will forever prefer rock and metal released in the 70's to ANYTHING that's being released nowadays. It honestly feels like since my birth, there's been a huge book with the Union Jack on it's cover labled "Cool Shit from before your time", and i'm only now starting to give it a deep dive. Thank you for educating me well on this stuff, dad.

Sacrilège de mettre un écran publicitaire en pleine chanson (plus particulièrement quand il y a un extrait de Pump the Jam de Technotronic) 🙄

Burn has symphonic-elements in it......it sounds like Bach once-and-a-while.....Brilliant.

Sanae Takaichi, one of the female candidates for Japan's next Prime Minister (the election results are just around the corner, so stay tuned!), was apparently a huge fan of this song when she was younger. She said it was her go-to song whenever she was feeling frustrated - it really helped her blow off steam! And you know what? I can totally see why!
