I have recorded scores of songs on the DP-24. After watching this video I will stick with it. The Mix and Master process is sensible and convenient. All with no PC and no other gear. The buttons are fine. You need to wait one second while your data settles.

The biggest problem now is how am I supposed to have all tracks on the same click? Like, if I have the guitarist record to the click then I'll have to figure out how to sync him with the click in my inear mix so I can record drums over his track.
@JonValtandtheEvilRobotsАй бұрын
These are multitrack recorders. It’d be literally impossible to have the problem you’re describing.

I need a power cord for the 1002 and the best price I can get for a 5 dollar power supply is 60 dollars. Any ideas on a reasonable power supply.

Danelectro should have released the French Toast octave fuzz in one of these big metal cases instead of the little plastic one. It's a great pedal and would have fitted well in their hippie pedal line.

Hey, Thanks! Although I use a DAW, I use the DP-24SD for a one man jazz show. I play my compositions at 24 bits into the tascam and record (mono) onto 2 tracks. I can plug my guitar effects processor in and get the levels right, perhaps some effects for certain parts. Anyways, the tascam plays back the 24 bit recording and does not change the key, and it has a lot of nice output options.

If individual track eqing wasn't an option, being only global - that would have been a deal breaker. But fortunately, Tascam didn't drop the ball. I've had mine since 2016. I never upgraded to The Model series cause this still gets the job done.

I have one of these. I used it a few times live but it has a habit of creating tons of line noise in a pedal chain so it didn't serve a lot of use. On the inside it says something like "best used with 9v adaptor, use of lithium battery will create noise, zinc battery will create more noise" which is rather unique for a pedal to say such a thing 😂 Sound wise - it's nothing like a sitar, I managed to get it to sound a bit like a synth patch by adding delay with loads of decay and a bit of reverb, that was nice for a bit. But seriously, it's nothing like a sitar at all. When you use with Ebow it can create some thick textures of single note sustained lines that are pretty cool. Mainly I found it useful as a effect to use on studio recordings, putting a drum machine through it for instance produced slightly gnarly ring mod ish treated beats. Which was nice. There isn't really anything else that sounds like it, this video is a fair representation. But you can definitely get better pedals for a similar price second hand.
