so mad with myself, I normally research before buying online. I did order a pair and they arrived in 3 days, must say they are comfy but looking at them properly, doubt they will last more than a few months tops. IF I had known they were ordering these bulk from China I certainly would not have bought them, especially as I see the same thing on Temu for +/- R170 - I swore I'd never order from Temu but looks like I will after all.......... misrepresenting these as made in SA is NOT cool. Sharks.

I bought a pair on 11 Decemeber and only received them today (a month later). They are comfortable. Not so sure about the quality. I'm just pissed off that I paid so much money for a cheap chinese product. Fool me once...

Mine arrived in four days flat. Personally the quality seems fine. They really comfortable. Maybe not with the price but that's on me for buying them. I'm just relieved they subbed period after reading hellopeter

These are the worst , cheapest and most worthless shoes I've ever stepped into. My wife bought me a pair as a gift. I use barefoot shoes, Vibram, Merrill, ect. for sprinting and workouts and as everyday shoes. these are the worst. The are unusable since the upper of the shoe is so flimsy that your heel pulls out. They are too narrow. The lace end is loose and clicks around when you walk. they are simply JUNK.

Black Friday sales 2023, take money, no delivery, huge amounts of complaint on socials, no one at company replying to emails .

Ordered shoes and got them in 7 days. So far so good! They were $55, my feet feel so much better and I don’t have sensory issues due to “normal people shoes”. I can physically bend my toes naturally that you can’t with normal shoes. I did buy from the barestep people.

Hm. I just received mine last week and I love them. The company's story may be manufactured, but what company -including big names aren't? It's all marketing. Actually, I had serious trouble dealing with Xero and Vivobarefoot so I took a chance here and glad I did. My only concern is durability since comfort is better than expected, but only time will tell.

Please share this even further and even wider. They got me over Black Friday literally as I was telling colleagues not to fall for scams. It is not a scam. I ordered mine yesterday. I received a tracking number and it looks like my shoes will arrive this week. I personally think their back story wasn’t true, however, it is not a scam. I think they set up their website very well and also made sure their responses were professional. Scammers are not professional generally speaking.

Interesting to hear this. I have been using barefoot type shoes for years now. Ordered a pair and was delivered in 2 days. Ordered for my wife, delivered in 2 days. I have just received the Barestep 2 shoe I ordered saturday and delivered today Monday the 9th October '23. I have run in the region of 60km's now, I guess durability will be proven or not? But comfort have been great. Still way cheaper than trying to get Vibrams or one of the other barefoot concepts. If i can get them cheaper I definitely will. Never heard the story or that they claim to be South African or not? is this a witch hunt by 1 unhappy client maybe?????????
