First of all, cute outfit. I like the spikes on the wrist.😃Everything you said here is spot on! Yes, the bible is relatable because it was written by people just like us. A good question to answer here is why is it called the Word of God? The answer is because God was behind everything that is written in there. It was God's will for the writers to put everything in there that is in there and that's what makes the bible the best book every written.

I wasn't expecting to type so much :( I hope this doesn't detract from the message you shared in this video, but I wanted to share a thought that I believe is loosely related to your video. So before I go on my rant I want to commend you for your approach to this subject. I never thought of the word of God being relatable in an emotional way. I think if I relate to anyone it would be Moses. He walked with God for a good portion of his life, but due to his lack of trust he was barred from the land promised. I think of many times where I lacked faith and have suffered for it. Not because He punished me, more in the sense that His ways tend to be better (even if not easier). With that, I apologise if this doesn't directly engage with the topic of said video. For almost 8 years I've been on a long journey trying to understand as much of the Christian worldview as possible. Recently, my journey has taken me to understanding the bible through its cultural context. The very little I've uncovered has already taught me a lot. To connect it with your video, one aspect of specifically the ancient near eastern culture (that the OT authors/intended audience would no doubt be familiar with) was a popular motif that God(s) would live in/retreat to high or impossible to reach places such as a garden or a mountain. Both obviously appear in the bible, but the biblical authors didn't just steal or borrow from the religions around them. The theological twists they put in the stories shares a crucial fact that relates directly to what you've said here and its both simple and profound: God is a relational being. Notice how Eden isn't a place where God retreats to when He's tired of dealing with humans 24/7. On the contrary God actually *places* man _in the garden with him._ In other words, when all these other religions were telling you "the divine is unreachable, and cares little for the lives of its subjects" the bible tells us "From the beginning you were meant to be *with* God!" Look further in, and we see God not retreating to Mount Sinai to escape His people, but brings Moses up the mountain to stand in His presence. A similar scene plays out in Luke 9 when Christ takes Peter, John and James up the mountain and they witness the transfiguration. You have to imagine how obvious the connection was for them seeing Moses standing there amongst them. Just as Moses stood with God and His council, so Christ brought them to stand in the midst of His. From Genesis 1:26 all the way through Revelation 2:28, God desires nothing more than to be with us and share in His majesty. I understand this might be unorthodox, but I enjoy his out-of-the-box thinking. As Dr. Hugh Ross put it (heavily paraphrased because I can't remember the exact quote lol): The universe is a tool God is using to eradicate evil. When this is done He shall speak it out of existence and create a new universe with radically different physics and dimensions. This is because we will no longer be constrained by linear time or our relationships to each other. God's goal is to exponentially expand our capacity to express and receive love. No wonder God and His word are so relatable. Even in His Otherworldly-ness (for which He definitely wants us to be mindful of) it is clear that that should in no way impede our ability to relate with Him. I pray you keep searching for understanding, and that you never stop sharing what you find. It is always a pleasure to hear your wonderful insights!

I'm still here. I miss your videos. I have a praise report I would like to share. A few weeks someone tried to steal my car. They didn't succeed but the driver's side window was broken and the part of the dash around the steering column and the ignition switch was gone. They had tried to hot wire it. Unfortunately at the time my insurance premium was too high for the insurance to cover it. The repair was very expensive and I was in serious need of money to pay for the repair so I could get the car back. Two of my friends pitched in some money but the big blessing was my sister stepped in and gave the rest of what I needed to get it fixed! I was speechless when she did that! Some time later on a Sunday morning there was this girl singing on the praise team and I got goosebumps when I saw what her shirt said "My God can". I was like yes amen! God provides!
