You know, I think the reason why Meliodas Had more faith in Lancelot than he does in Tristan seemingly, it's because Tristan is always holding back his power to its full-scale. He only uses his goddess traits, not his demon ones, so he's always holding back. That probably why Meliodas put a lot more trust into Lancelot. It's not that he has no faith in his own son. It's just that he has my faith in somebody who doesn't hold back in a fight and that's what Lancelot is.

I'd say go HP/DEF, he gets basically all his attacking stats from his extort so HP would help him tank when he doesnt have an extort up. I've done pvp matches with attack/crit and hp/def, and the damage is pretty much the same, but he'll die less quickly with hp

you can use regular atk def or hp def but this a ungeared performance so no equipment at all
