Do not spend Gems for rare buildings and use them for land instead. As soon as you research the 3rd age you will research the ability to build infinite amounts of houses etc. just like you can in the Egypt Event. You will run out of space very soon. And no. You won't get every land for free. There is a limited amount of land for free and another 18 land locked by Gems.

She came home with him dead inside a bag. When I checked her location it said she was at a vet. She then had the vet call me to try and convince me and justify why they put him down.

I'm so sorry for your loss. That is crazy what your mother and the vet did. My cat is 9 y.o and I only took him to a vet as a kitten for a snip. I've heard a lot of similar stories of vets doing the same thing. I don't understand how a vet would go through with that. Thank you for sharing. I hope you, and others, find solace in this video.

Spending speeds up progress, but u can still enjoy the game without spending if ur in no rush and don't care about the leaderboard

Can hardly do anything in the game, Gated by resources and energy to do anything. Getting pulls is like trying to get bitcoin. If u are a pay to play u will still be gated, unless u are a whale. Even then there is hardly any “ fun”events for a launch.

Expansions are the best way to spend gems. The reason is you unlock unlimited buildings in tech tree (Greece I believe), and this will help you progress as it will let you build as many homes/goods you want just like in Egypt event. Special buildings are cool but you have to pay more gems to upgrade them every time you age up.

@StillAliveGG If this game works like RoC, you dont get all land for free. You have some left to unlock with gems. Also unlocking early lets you expand faster. Plus first land expansions are cheap and 1 exp can hold like 4 normal houses. Compare to luxury house's price tag. Up until land costs 1k or less land is better investment.

@@StillAliveGG you'll change your mind. land is the first priority. it has multiple benefits. yes you get some for free, but the land you buy with gems is a bonus on top of the land you unlock for free. and you can never have too much land.
