The unknown trail after thick and creamy is ‘Indian Summer’ if you go to the left after the second double/gap there’s a nice drop down /gap too. Sweet rig! 🤙🏻

Cheers mate! I’ve always wondered what that trail was called. Yeah I’ve seen that feature you’re talking about, but haven’t got around to hitting it yet - next time!

Did you hit the e-bike cut off?… so of course the downhill is faster

@michaelmazzaglia9569 no, had the e-bike in turbo mode. There was a difference in how hard I pedalled at the start as I wanted to get the DH bike up to speed, and ended up riding it faster on that first flat section. From there on, I was faster on the e-bike on the flatter and smoother stuff, but that was more than offset by how much faster the DH bike was on rougher terrain. Also worth noting that my e-bike lap was only my second time down these tracks. And the DH lap was my third time down - so I had 100% more experience for that one

Good video. You didn't seem to have as much confidence on the ebike. Do you think it was the difference between an enduro bike and DH bike (suspension)? Or an ebike being heavier? Or......?

@@quantumkookaburra cheers! It was partly that my e-bike lap was only my second time down these tracks and the DH lap was my third time down. So had 100% more experience. But also that the terrain is rougher than it looks in the video and I nearly crashed several times on the 150mm e-bike!!

@@jamespmtb Oh, I thought the ebike was an enduro - just assumed. Would have been tricky going down that track on a trail bike.
