Highland roots! This show was very special..n they cranked that joint as always up on the Land!! Im on the far left by the front burgundy brick pole under the skating ring n black trying to get my groove in. Just like old times where RE use to play n up on the Doc, not to mention Highland rec n auditorium from 8 to 12pm! From the beginning to the very end..Lil Benny.. a true real DC original who never forgot where he came from... Go Go never will b the same in DC nomore especially, when use to seeing him playing somewhere weekly in our DC hometown from way back beginning n the 70s at age of 7 up Highland.😢 I never will for getcha bro! If i ain't mistaken.....this was down the iconz in like 2013 -2014...was there with my brother. Much respect to Smoke. It's hard to be that good for so long with no drop off. whenever he plays it is a master class. Sequan from huck a bucks gave smoke a go before his murder. Loved winko growing up, his style just spoke to me. Congo E in my opinion is the best out now. Can listen o E all day
