@PSspecialist Which word? I used to be an in home health care worker who would do similar tasks to what she is wanting. Having someone serve you, even when you are disabled, is not a Natural Right.

The point of society and civilization to is to make sure everyone gets a fair shot and a baseline level of opportunity. Since people aren't all born equal the point of government should be to help with that in any way possible to a logical degree. If we don't care about this we're no better than animals. Personally I'm not an animal. If you want to behave like humanity is no better than a jungle that's your perogative. I don't want any part of that.

Some want to say these conditions are mostly the result of the war, but it is well known around the world that Ukraine has an absolutely atrocious record of not only neglect, but outright extreme abuse of children like these. It’s unbelievable that to even seeing these things, it can still be said that, “at least they aren’t chained up”!

As a disabled person myself, I am DEEPLY, DEEPLY disappointed at this lecture. I do not know if I have enough words to shatter the arguments put forth in this lecture. See, THIS, THIS is the problem with the pseudo-sciences, such as psychology and to an extent, sociology. Much of it ignores existing phenomena, and therefore try to provide an alternate dimension style model. THIS, THIS will not bring about effective change. This will only cause disabled people like us to stumble upwards. PLEASE, get this thing through your heads, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ALL INCLUSIVE! ALL INCLUSIVE IMPLIES YOU INCLUDE THE QUALIFIED/COMPETENT ALONG WITH THE UNQUALIFIED/INCOMPETENT FOR A SPECIFIED PURPOSE THAT REQUIRES QUALIFICATION/CONPETENCY. Even disabled people are not isolated from this reality.

we activists are writing a book at present to coincide with Ireland been 100 years next years.. We are looking for advise on funding and others support. We are looking at our own roots in this region Clare Independent Living. plus Irish Independent Living and the USE history and and including ENIL.
