John Cunliffe, the creator of both 'Postman Pat' and 'Rosie & Jim' was born in Colne, Lancashire in 1933. Originally, he worked as a primary school teacher and also a mobile librarian. He lived to the age of 85.

I Like 3:52 Doughnuts and 4:28 Cakes except for those that some Cake flavors contains Fruit and some Doughnuts are to sour like Banana and Custard.

No mention of the harmful gasses burning coal throws up into the stratosphere. Those were the times!!!!! So happy I grew up in a more care free world lol

in next weeks episode we find out what the gang get up to on their day off. john spends the day going between the betting shop and the pub, duck visits his ex wife and baby ducklings, Jim goes to the amusement arcade and attempts to get high score on space invaders and rosie spends the day on facebook.

RIP John Cunliffe who will always be remembered by my me and my sisters childhood memories as The First Presenter who owns The Ragdoll by writing stories of Rosie & Jim and also for creating Postman Pat.

Does anyone know if John Cunliffe was really a vegetarian? Because I heard some rumour from someone on another copy of this episode on KZbin ages ago that he/she saw him eat a steak bake out of Greggs and later fish and chips on the seafront and that he pretended to be a vegetarian to teach kids about them?
