I got a lucky gig shuffling credit card customers paying a premium to sit in for soundcheck. KLOS DJ legend Rita Wild was there. She's legend. Anyway, for working the soundcheck we got to stay in the Hollywood Bowl for the show but no seats. So I basically stood in the pathway between the box sets in the lower part of the bowl and then the bench rows that lead up to the top. When the band was about to take the stage I walked right past Ringo but then made eye contact with Joe Walsh. That was cool.

I never liked the penguin. But from the first time I saw his penguin I was in love. I watched the show and now Robin's penguin is one of my favorite tv characters of all time.

I didn't know if you travelled with the band or knew them well, otherwise why would they listen to someone they don't know on u tube, that's all. I'm sure the drummer must have requested a different pedestal.

HamiltonRb Well I won't go into contacting the Band stuff.. But believe it or not everyday people do effect change in young bands & their management However, this isn't really an unreasonable suggestion to be made by anyone.. Fan or industry person alike. It's factual. Danny was not on a pedestal at all, he was stage level, center stage. This is where Josh spends 95% of his time which means you literally can not see Danny at all unless you're stage left or right & only if you're in a good viewing position. Their fame rapidly expanding, on KZbin through fan users posting concert videos especially at the time I made that comment made for bad viewing & band member equality for the drummer not to be viewable on such a large number of videos. So something as simple as putting him on a pedestal which all big bands not just playing bars have anyway was good for everyone involved..Danny, the band, & of course the fans. LoL.. If that's not to much of a specific explanation for ya ☺.. KYGIRLUSA!

Sounds good to me...lol I saw them twice in Toronto and was on the balcony by the stage so could see all of them clearly, but it makes sense that if you are at floor level, it might have been more difficult to see the drummer.
