I wish they would actually define the emotion they are trying to convey. Maybe they are leaving it open to interpretation... The video doesn't resignate an internal struggle. The ending where she wants to pull him out, but he can't leave... that's not a struggle in your head like the director described. It's more like 2 people trying to be in each other's lives, but they can not figure out how to sync up. When one is interested in connecting, the other is not. Then she leaves with the idea that he either comes with her or not, but he isn't capable. The video is very powerful... I'm surprised to hear the director describe such a weak concept.
