Thank you! I have done it many times before as a conductor, and could kick myself for losing the score.

Composer please? I’ve lost my score!

Hi, The Holy Child Trilogy comes from a folk oratorio composed by David PALMER. Sadly this has been out of print for many years so not available anymore. You would therefore have to track down a copy in the 'secondhand' market. Great piece tho! Best wishes Colin

Hello Amy This is a Christmas Song written by a good friend of ours - Brad Bradshaw - originally for the children of his school where he was the headmaster. Brad doesn't read or write music so he managed to persuade a fellow teacher just to score the tune. The piece has never been published as an arrangement for a choir and what you hear on this recording is my arrangement of the remarkable piece. The song did appear in a Methodist House publication many years ago - if I remember correctly- as a book of 100 new songs for Christmas for children but this is no longer in print. Hope that helps Colin

@abbandbill Thanks. Good to know. The kids from my daughter's school are singing it, my girl loves it.

Excellent dynamics, just sung a little (too) fast in my eyes. But good all in all.

[Intro: John Lennon] If I fell in love with you Would you promise to be true And help me understand 'Cause I've been in love before And I found that love was more Than just holding hands [Verse 1: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] If I give my heart to you I must be sure From the very start That you would love me more than her [Verse 2: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] If I trust in you, oh please Don't run and hide If I love you too, oh please Don't hurt my pride like her [Bridge] 'Cause I couldn't stand the pain And I Would be sad if our new love Was in vain [Verse 3: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] So I hope you see that I Would love to love you And that she will cry When she learns we are two [Bridge: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] 'Cause I couldn't stand the pain And I Would be sad if our new love Was in vain [Verse 4: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] So I hope you see that I Would love to love you And that she will cry When she learns we are two [Outro: Paul McCartney & John Lennon] If I fell in love with you

I rarely hear this carol sung to this tune. It was the one I learnt at primary school, but my secondary school music teacher and choir master had never heard of it when I played it for him.
