You don't need to use a mask to spray paint. Please. Secondly any over spray you might get from plastidip, you can wipe off. I plastidip the door rubber on my 2009 Yukon multiple times a year to keep it looking fresh, and I don't even use masking anymore. I just spray and when I'm done take a microfiber towel and just lightly buff away any over spray. My Yukon is champagne colored so black shows easily.

@@mrfunkington if you don’t want to wear a mask that’s your choice to make. Wearing a respirator with organic vapor cartridges, helps protect your lungs from these fumes.

@@IAmThePrepper I haven’t tried breaking into the safe but once it’s installed, you’ll see there isn’t much leverage when the lid is closed. I agree. To be honest, I can’t find any better solutions to store the critical items in the car unattended. I thought about the lockbox to chain underneath the driver seat. However, for the model 3, the seats are low in both driver and passenger side. It does not have any much clearance to put a solid lockbox (I prefer ‘steelhead lock box’ and it uses 10 gauge steel and the cable seems strong. Not necessarily, it depends on the model of wrench. For a unidirectional wrench yes. It will only safely (for the mechanism) apply torque in the rated direction. If it's bidirectional then as long as you set the wrench higher than the break away torque or you don't exceed the max rating of the wrench you're good. But breaker bars are cheap and simple and good and get the same size drive as the torque wrench you own.

As long as you make sure you've got all of the other pieces on, do you think this is a valid installation technique?
@JonJong Жыл бұрын
I believe it would be more cumbersome to add the air foils after. One reason is they have to overlap each other. Second reason is to properly torque each screw, it’s much easier before mounting. It’s actually rather easy because the mount holds the weight so you’re only lifting the fan up briefly.

I wish they offered a low-volume "beep" setting for the fan. Sometimes my significant other will go to bed first. Then when I go to bed, I may want to adjust the fan. The bummer is that the blue lights are so bright, and the beep is so loud, that both can disturb her sleep. 😅 I'd turn off the LED indicators if there was a quite beep option.
