I remember watching this with my mom she was like the most memorable character I was like 6 years old when this came on and I still remember this... And that fight Tad n Billy Ray I think that's his name on the bridge and they both fell I might rewatch the '90s on my children

Listening to this from Janet’s perspective it sounds like she always had some sort of mental issue where she felt no one loved her. Someone hurt her feelings and she can’t seem to let it go. She thinks anyone that hurts her feelings hates her. I’m sure there’s a name for that kind of mental disorder but Janet had one. Of course her mother didn’t help by force feeding her oatmeal because she knew she didn’t like it and abusing her and then marrying Axel Green and being abused by him, it’s no wonder she went a little nuts. I’d go nuts too!

This entire storyline was brilliant, thanks mostly to Kate Collins. Take note doppelgänger storylines: this is how it’s done!!!

This show should have been called "All My Twins", almost every major character had a twin at some point, lol - Natalie had Janet, Erica had Jane, who tried to steal her identity, Kitty Shea and Kelly Cole were identical, Adam and Stuart of course, and Stuart's wife Cindy had a twin named Karen! Jenny, after she died, had a doppelganger named Sheila, as did Will Cortlandt have a doppelganger (I can't remember the name)! Tad had Ted, Jesse had Jacob (who met Angie when she lived in Corinth on "Loving")... Babe had Marissa, but they were fraternal, lol... Anna had Alexandra... Ava had Lily... Jeremy had Gilbert! (On "Loving")... And don't get me started on the everyone's illegitimate children!

Omg this whole era was such a thrilling story! I remember getting to watch these episodes during summer break then Mom recording the rest for me when I went back to school. Was only in Jr. High at the time but my Mom and Grandma got me hooked on AMC. Great times back then.

I loved All My Children because it reminded me so much of my other favorite show Dark Shadows (shot on the same film set). When the show got creepy, boy was it scary!

I am so glad you mentioned Dark Shadows. I kinda feel that Agnes Nixon paid homage to the show by having Dimitri in a castle and a presumed dead wife, Angelique. That story was very gothic.

@@jeremydowdy4919 She certainly did! The entire Wildwind story arcs were reminiscent of Dark Shadows' Collinwood. I loved them! BTW, there is a Jonathan Frid (Barnabas) Documentary that was just made. It's being narrated by Ian Buchanan (from GH). Dark Shadows and Beyond. Check online for how to buy or view it!

@@RidiculousThoughts Thank you! I will have to check it out! I guess since Ian Buchanan was on Port Charles and Joshua Temple was a vampire lackey, he is an excellent choice to do a DS documentary. (Oh how I still miss my beloved PORT CHARLES)

Yes Janet was crazy..but Natalie was no saint either..She did everything she could to break up Jeremy and Erica..tried to pass Timmy off as Jeremy’s son..married Palmer for money when she was sleeping with Ross (before the rape).. Accidentally shot Silver Kane but let Palmer cover it up..Both Janet and Natalie did pretty twisted things.

I remember this story like it was yesterday. We didn’t actually know whether Natalie escaped Janet until an episode or two later before the wedding when Janet (as Natalie) looked in the mirror and “mirror Janet” with the dark brown hair and glasses gleefully stared back at her.
